Beta Ray Bill was a badass in this story he pops out of nowhere and quickly reduces Fenrir into a skeleton while screaming "Who dare lays a hand on the Mighty Thor" and he scares Fenrir's army into retreating. I am sad he wasn't in the Thor movie, Bill is one of the best Thor and Cosmic characters.

Yeah that's the fun and interesting things about the MCU versions of the events that we know from the comics, sure there are times that they don't hold up to the original stories but most of the time they sure do, Winter Soldier, Civil War, Ragnarok, Infinity War (Gauntlet) are great examples and soon we will see the One more day and Spider-men storylines in No Way Home

This started out neat, got even better, than weird, than just completely confusing and made no sense And then became completely pointless. The part with iron man and cap teaming up to save Asgard sounds awesome though.

They completely lost me at the whole "destroy reality" bit. especially if Ragnarok is an infinite loop, how does Thor know to destroy it? and as an endless loop, wouldn't Thor have done all this confusing stuff before in other loops?

Darth Rubik Nope. This storyline is where Thor realizes that Asgard and the other worlds are being manipulated by a Higher Power, neither Thor or anyone else found this out in the previous cycles, Everything that Thor has done in comic continuity had been leading up to Thor Ultimately breaking and ending the ragnarok cycles forever. When Odin gave up his eye he gained greater knowledge of how to use runes and such. Thor gave away two of his eyes and gained this greater knowledge. the video explained it.

To be fair though, not too long ago, Disney gave (near) complete creative control of Marvel Studios and the movies to Kevin Feige. Before, Kevin Feige would report to Perlmutter (Marvel's CEO), who was infamously known for prioritizing toy sales before anything else.

Nate Wainwright a dc concept., seven entities each personifying an element of reality Destiny Death Dream Desire Despair Destruction And Delirium They each personify their concept as well as their concepts counterpart, such as Dream being the personification of Dreams AND reality. And since gods experience much of what the endless personify, one could say they are gods of gods, even though, as said, they are personifications and not exactly gods. I hate the main story in "Fear Itself". The only parts I enjoyed were the tie-ins. Siege was only good because it kills off the Sentry, also Loki, and clears the path for the introduction of Kid Loki. Asgardia is just weird. The entire realm is still literally the same as Asgard, but just ruled by the All-Mothers (female ruler) instead of the All-Father (male ruler). You don't see the country of Wakanda changing name just because Shuri, T'Challa's sister, became the Black Panther and official ruler of Wakanda.

but what about the Midgar Serpent? I thought Ragnarok was him and Thor in a battle to the death were they pretty much kill each other (along with the mountains crumbling, the sea rising and the old world being washed away with neither Gods nor monsters surviving)
