Sounds awesome though! I could've sworn I heard the BF1 round ending theme here 0:50. It even has the same cut-off when it goes to black (or round end). Either way, it suits it well!

This single trailer would have reduced the backlash by 90%, kept most fans interested and saved the game. I'd probably have bought it if this was the trailer (and the game more or less kept up the theme)

If this was the announcement trailer instead and the devs arent taking drugs on twitter, I will be more forgiving.

Yeah it would have...if 75% of this fan made trailer's content wasn't what they released months/years later. DICE had nothing at launch and slowly tried to patch content missing into it later.

We have a problem with a purple hair, female amputee, jumping out of a vehicle in a combat zone, when realistically, that wouldn't happen, especially during the second World War. Seeing that, is just flat out disrespectful towards the veterans that fought during that war. Its also free with zero micro transactions garbage of any kind as it all paid for via patreon donations just to flip the bird to greedy AAA game corporations.

Any of the marketing published by EA, a studio that probably has a budget 10× what was used in this video. Yes, from an objective standpoint it us just clips edited together with music over it. But that really down plays what was accomplished here. I won't go into the editing process, because I'm not versed in the area. But I guarantee, me and anyone else not versed in editing could not produce anything that comes close to this quality.

@@reggiesmith9450 my main issues with the game are the severe lack of content, immersion, and gameplay variety. The game never got much content because of it being cancelled early and a lot of it was recycled from BF1. The game in my opinion does not feel like a WWII shooter for a lot of reasons. The maps at the start of the game’s life cycle were supposed to be lesser known battles and starting off with that doesn’t really make the game feel like WWII at all when most maps aren’t recognizable. The insanely bright colors in the game also don’t make it seem like WWII because it doesn’t seem like there’s a war going on at all. The guns also mostly all play the same so the majority of people are using the same few weapons that play differently from the rest.

Yeah, it would have been nice to sea the Eastern Front and with it the Russian Army as an fraction. I also wanted to see the B-17 Bombers of the US Army, maybe on an map in germany or the in ardennen in Belgium. But it didn't came this way.

I think that's true. Gameplay wise the game isn't bad, it's actually quite fun. But they royally fucked up the marketing. They saw that being "woke" was the thing to be and tried to say "Hey, we're woke too!". It failed epically.

Same here! I bought BF1, BF4 and BF3 back in the day, but didn't buy BFV, just had the EA Play subscription for a year. Was extremely sick of BFV. BF6 is their last chance with me.

Yes! But you still cant deny that the live service was a mess. But the game itself was one my favourite battlefields. The gameplay at its core was very rewarding and fun. Skilled players were rewarded for being good and bad players still had fun as they have been rewarded for other things. Unlike other BFs this game needed to be perfected by the player, not the casual mess of BF1
