I'm 62, walk two miles each way to the store for food and necessities twice per month, half mile to PT for a flared up ancient lumbar injury and well, plenty more. Keeping active as possible is critical to maintaining health. And doctor was thrilled when I suggested PT for the back as a first approach. I also stated up front to keep the opiates and opioids away, as my mast cells do massive histamine dumps with them to a level where I literally feel like I'm dying. Great drugs when needed, such as post-op, not so great the rest of the time. I'm also big on minimum intervention for maximal gain, save in highly specific situations where the sledgehammer approach is warranted. Next appointment, to have doctor investigate one ankle that feels like it nearly locks and had been nearly broken years ago.

I'm a medicinal chemist and I applaud your attention to accuracy when discussing concepts related to chemistry and metabolism. These are areas where physicians frankly don't normally need to be concerned with the fine details and thus they often get a lot wrong, but you've obviously consulted reliable sources. Great job. You even got the tongue-twisting pronunciations almost perfectly.

@robertm8869 well, he's an orthopedic surgeon, not a physiologist. I'm not saying that physicians wouldn't have learned such things along the way in their education, but if something is outside of your specialty, you often become weak in that topic and fall behind on recent advances in understanding. I've certainly know plenty of physicians who would not have been able to do that off the cuff, and presumably he didn't either - he researched his topic well. As an analogy - there are many basic chemistry concepts that I frankly haven't revisited in many years and would be at high risk of making big mistakes if I let me ego prevent me from revisiting them before presenting a lecture that explained them.

As a many time tren user I have to say you are spot on. The side effects I experienced that bothered me most were the excessive night sweats and insomnia. Of course the lack of quality sleep made me feel crummy a lot of the time. I was never a high dose guy either. 200-300 mg per week was all I could tolerate. I never used for more than 6 weeks at a time either. I will say I was insanely strong while using this compound. Coupled with 7-9% BF and boy did my body pop!!! I used this drug in my late 20’s-mid 30’s, early 2000’s. Now at 46 there is no way I could tolerate the sides nor could my joints take the massive strength gain. I see these young guys on the net talking about using it and it blows my mind. In my opinion you need to be very advanced with a physique that shows the YEARS of serious training and knowledge to even touch this stuff. I would like to add that I have also had labs drawn every 4 months for over 18 years to make sure I was staying safe. Great quality video Doc 👍🏽

It is not the best I have seen but it is best video I have seen directed at normies. Tren was super popular 15-20 years ago. It really can not be compared to many other AAS products. It is so much more potent miligram for miligram and the side affects come on super strong at what would be consider very low doses and only get worse the higher you go. Almost no one takes it alone most steroids that are not testosterone are seldom taken alone they are almost always taken along with Test and or other steroids. Since no almost no one ever takes Trenbolone alone very few are really qualified to speak on it. There is a synergy that happens when different AAS's are combined and not only in terms of desired out come but also a synergy of side effects physicaly and mentaly. Because so many athletes "stack" anabolic agents including but not limited to anabolic steroids it is hard for most to actualy speak intelligently on a single compound since almost no one runs just one steroid unless that one is Testosterone. On top of that no one talks about how the worst rage, anxiety, and depression comes when these athletes come off of steroids.Very few of the so called reports of "roid rage" happen on cycle it is normaly when people are coming off that mood swings, depression, anxiety hit hard. People tend to get it backwards! No one talks about restarting the HPTA either publicly.

I'm happy I never took steroids in college. I managed to buy a bottle in college, but it sat on my shelf past expiry... I was angry I spent so much and didn't put them to use at the time, but I kept hearing about all the long term repercussions of the addictive side of steroid use (both mentally and physiologically)... It just wasn't worth it. Edit: I forgot to mention my one roommate in college dated a guy who took steroids, it affected is sexual drive largely. My roommate didn't mind, but he had to quit because he kept hurting himself. It's a double edged sword. Sure my progress wasn't the absolute best, but I learned so much from listening to my body and practicing with safe (and eventually effective) practice. Rest is a big key one for those who struggle to see progress, especially if they overtrain to the point that their body just can't recover... Sometimes it's even that they're not eating enough surplus to see the gains they want to see, or lifting as heavy. Way too many factors to just take the easy way out right away. Thanks for this video, it's fantastic!

Most of the information on it is found on Reddit and forums. If they would legalize it and allow it under medical supervision most would gladly go that route. But unfortunately most doctors won't monitor or guide you these days so you're left on your own really.

Is it just as healthy as someone who maintains those hormone levels naturally? More likely to have regular blood work, so what is the comparison to steroids cycles for recreational users?
@stringlarson1247
@stringlarson1247 2 місяці тому
I read something recently on TRT, saying that once you go on that, it's a lifetime thing due to permanent changes to your body's natural functions. I was just skimming FWIW.
@BuffaloNickel9
@BuffaloNickel9 2 місяці тому
@@stringlarson1247 i think you're confused as to why we start TRT ...medically TRT is for men like me who don't produce enough testosterone only 70-90 ng/dl for me. We take Test Cypionate shots. Of course men who shouldn't be on TRT will screw up their natural test. But TRT is not for them. It's for men like me who need it with a doctor's prescription because we don't produce enough testosterone, *I can promise you we're not worried about our testosterone not coming back once we get off because it's for life since we don't produce enough in the first place.* There's no side effects of ruining our natural production, that's why we're on it in the first place because our natural test production is messed up! So many people think they can just hop on trt, but you have to qualify for legal trt, have several rounds of continuously low blood work to qualify, etc. Mine is strictly monitored.
@Ricky-mo6mv
@Ricky-mo6mv Місяць тому
@@stringlarson1247 That’s not necessarily true for everyone. People can and do recover from being on TRT, and it’s possible to go back to baseline test levels before TRT was initiated. Regardless, one has to approach it with the mindset that they will be committed for life, as that may be the case.

I'm 43 and even passed on TRT. I decided that what I really needed, with just low-end normal testosterone, was to be 1). Lifting weights more consistently, with form Dr. Mike Israetel would approve of. 2). LISS cardio, at least an hour every day, and 3). Reduce my calories until I am back to the weight I was when I was in the Army. 4). Get a better night's sleep each night, and 5). Be more active physically in general. - I know it's a big shock, but after making these changes, my testosterone level is now in the upper 3rd of the range without needles. I know it's not good for a surgeon's business, but I prefer to stay off your table.

Your doctor likely has zero clue what tren even is to start. But of courwe you shouldn't use test tren and gh on Ur first cycle. That's like putting a 4 year old on a tricycle then giving them a ferrwri5and expecting it'll all work out. There's nothing wrong with testosterone, or gh. Or tren really if it's used properly by someone who knows the dangers. Ur doc should have taken blood work to see if you needed gh or testosterone. If you're fine being 5ft9 160lbs then stay there. If you want better results then out in the work, eventually steroids will be a choice your going to need to make... It's VERY simple to use steroids LONG term and have zero long term health issues

Which is why there are standardised methods for measuring testosterone, it’s always taken at 8am, it’s usually repeated 2 further times before a diagnosis is made. If a doctor is making a diagnosis of low-T without this testing regime then I would say that they are not accurately or scientifically taking the measurements and should not be prescribing any form testosterone supplements. My advice see a decent endocrinologist. And if you don’t have the symptoms, you don’t need the T.

Trenbolone acetate used in conjunction with estradial is a veterinary medication used in pre slaughter cattle. In pellet form, it is implanted subdermally and can add around 50kg/100lbs of lean mass in the weeks before slaughter. The long term health impacts in this scenario are, obviously, not considered relevant. In strength sports and bodybuilding, the estradiol is filtered out in the preparation for human use, and the trenbolone acetate is taken directly. The anabolic effects are similar to AAS designed for human use, though its androgenic effects are profound. These side effects, though of course considered a negative in a medical setting, produce desired outcomes in athletes. The adrogenising element produces profound results, far ‘superior’ to bioidentical testosterone, for example. It also seemingly has profound nutrient and water partitioning effects, though human derived data is limited.

Just doing some quick reading on 'trem' for cattle finishing. It seems counterintuitive that giving it to cattle in a CAFO would produce lean muscle mass as they are not active tho it does increase appetite. If they are just standing around eating corn which is common and has its own set of issues with bovine, I can see why there's so much intramuscular fat in US feedlot beef. As compared to Argentine beef (yes, different breed) or grass-fed beef in the US. There are quite a few studies on runoff from these CAFO operations and how hormones, antibiotics, etc. affect fish wildlife and drinking water. I'll stick with grass-fed from local farmers who I can visit. Quality over quantity. Similar if not worse for farm raised salmon etc.
