@@kalengray4073 Tyler hired a new editor on, who started doing a couple of these QOL changes when editing videos, and idk if Tyler saw/caught on and suggested the other editor do it too, but his normal editor benbenranger or whoever, has also started the same habits which has been amazing to see

I quit the game because I disliked the RNG. I wish there was a way to start with cards of your choice so you can try out certain builds without restarting it forever until you get the right cards

@@ImDaRealBoi the ai isn't very good at chess though. Which is nice. If it made the best chess moves, the game would be near impossible.

@@reed6514 not true though. you would need an ai that is good at this game, rather than chess, for it to be near impossible. for example, checkmates like opera mate could just be avoided by using shotgun, making them a blunder.

another challenge that I do not want to do but would be fun to watch, is if you, in luck be a landlord, did a run on floor 20 where you couldn't destroy anything. removing is fine but no destorying(except for duds)

NEVER get healing bishops. Total pain in the butt. If you're ever gonna kill the final boss king, Healing Bishops make it 10x harder for me.

Once again, your editor has taken an already excellent experience and elevated it. Seriously, this should be a case study of good video editing. Too many times before I would be trying to scroll back through on my phone to try and pause on the five frames that you had hovered over an option before moving on. Now it just shows up. Seriously good job.

"Discovered check is the worst fate" I personally hate it when I'm out of ammo (so I can't shoot or reload to pass), am not in check, but all possible moves put me into check. It's like stalemate but there are no ties - I am forced to move and lose.

Got an idea for a new black card here: The Disciple. You get a black pawn that can move a space forward in place of one of your turns. If he makes it to the end, he can be changed into one of the other pieces and played like a normal chess piece, at a base 5 damage/“attack”

I did a dark magic build and got the fire wand which deals your power to a non-king target. I also got the card that eliminates the king and you win by killing all of the bishops. I got the bishops down to 1 piece and buffed my power and could instantly win. However it did not work on the final boss because the final boss is always the white king.

I love watching Tyler's videos and trying to find these games or something similar on mobile. I couldn't find shotgun king but I find a similar game called pawnbarian. Lots of fun! Dicey dungeon is on mobile, spincraft is the closest thing I could find to luck be a landlord, slice and dice is on mobile, and 20 minutes till dawn is close to vampire survivors.

Nice job editors! But I feel the descriptions are a bit cluttered and hard to read nicely without alignment since all the options are so close (mainly when it’s a decision that’s not instantly made and it’s 4 descriptions)

Man I love the Victoria Shotgun, but it becomes exceedingly hard to deal with the low ammo in Rank 8 and above. It really limits your upgrade paths some runs as well. Very satisfying wand kill at the end!

@@maxyang3386 don't get me wrong the extra power is very nice, it just forces you to take extra ammo any time you see it. Hopping around in circles to get more ammo is very annoying

@@Brand-eo8gv I suppose that's true, but a few shots are usually enough to wipe out all the threatening pieces (unless you take something like court of the king), so lack of ammo is more annoying than an actual problem. Besides, this game gets so brutally difficult later on that you're more or less forced to use the gun that oneshots everything.

Ok so to help with how long it takes to get ammo to kill the king whilst empty, it's better to keep moving with a full gun as you get 1 shot every turn instead of every other turn

I tried this game, and tha worst part of it is that the knig can't capture any pieces and stalemate doesn't exist, so if you're trapped, you're dead. If the enemy king reaches you in the side of the board, you're dead
