So here’s the weird thing with what he says, especially his speeches. If you see them written or you take a few random sentences out of them you can see that they’re often essentially a mad-lib, fill in the blank stew of hyper-conservative aggression. Things don’t make more sense but the flow almost allows you to hear what his supporters want to hear. It's a double-edged sword cuz it makes Dems look like they can't get along, but it also makes the party more open to the perspectives of a wider variety of folks.
