A 13 year old child going for a sleep over without her mom’s consent is a big No,mom coming home and the boyfriend tells her the daughter went over to her friend’s for a sleepover and she doesn’t check on the child until the next day,not adding up,the mother should have been arrested and charged for negligence,she failed her daughter by bringing that guy into their lives

There is no way a responsible parent wouldn't have checked after learning their child went to spend the night at a friend.

I think the boyfriend went back home, after leaving work. He made advances, Billy's daughter. I think she refused and he killed her and then he hid her body. Because he knows too much about the details. To not be the murderer.

I've lived on my own with just my boys since 2007 and I'm so glad and do not regret one bit not taking in several stepdads or 'uncles' like most women do. Never trusted anyone strange with my kids. Only dated when they were at grandparents or their dads. I could never live with anyone invading my peace or space except my kids. It's not lonely at all less stress and I know my kids won't die in my home

The mom makes me entirely sick talking about how she’s her daughter’s voice now, but was doing pills with her boyfriend, had a fascination with serial killers and allowed this toxic behavior to go on around her daughter. I have to say that murderers are so often hunters. Hunters get desensitised. There is something not right with people who kill large sentient beings for sport or 'fun'. I noticed that when the mum was asked what it was like to be told about her daughter's death, she described what she was doing 'crying and saying no no no'. Yet she fails to describe her actual feelings like 'I was devastated, it felt like the end of the world etc' This and being an unrelated male who threatens to kill anyone makes me say it was Shaun and the mum is covering up for him because she doesn't believe he is capable.

I remember when this happened. I watched it on Nancy Grace. There is nothing wrong with interest in true crime. There is a cable channel 100% dedicated to crime. If there was not a whole hell of a lot of viewers there would not be such channel. That does not equal guilt. I have wondered over the years what ever happened in this case.

Everyone its crazy in Georgia. A person doesn't have to be a doctor in order to preform surgery. Its so unfortunate but the patients that died and were botched didn't do their research on the person preforming the surgery. They would have found that this person isn't a plastic surgery. Its terrible that the laws would allow someone who has life and death in their hands to perform surgery when they aren't a doctor. Felony murder has nothing to do with intent at all. It's simply did someone die as a result of/during your commission of said felony. It's not the same as 1st degree murder at all. The news knows this, but presents the information as to not show this. I don't get it.

The boyfriend lied and said he was not at the house when she was. But his phone pinged at the home when she was there. His phone also pinged at the site where her body was dumped likely just after the murder. He clearly did it.

Watching true crime shows is not a legitimate reason to think someone is guilty of a crime. Maybe all of us watching this youtube video are guilty of murder. The boyfriend is most likely the perpetrator. The father didn't do much to find his daughter. Supposedly, the child went to her father's home across the street. JUst seeing the father of the murderer how he said it's over. It's not over until Haley's murderer is brought to justice good ol' boy.
