he just happened to run into her walking down the road?? yeah right! the blood in his car plus the fact that he had a taser and a hammer really makes me think that he found out abt her being trans after they broke up and was scared she would tell ppl so he snatched her off the street and killed her to keep his secret safe..or he knew from the beginning and was having sex with her regularly and when they broke up he started to freak out and worry she would out him so he kidnapped and killed her to keep her from telling anybody abt the relationship and consensual sex they had..premeditated murder..he took a life all bc he couldn't accept who he was..a young life that had barely even started 😢

I'm from down that way originally and have started dating a woman near there a year ago, so I've come back to lower Alabama a lot recently. I was heading home to Nashville, turning from Pike County Lake Road onto Three Notch to get on 231 when I saw a billboard about this case. I was unaware of it until then. I work at a drug and alcohol rehab, I'm in recovery and have six years of sobriety. It is not victim blaming to state a simple fact: this poor woman's decisions have really hobbled local law enforcement's ability to get some clarity in this case. Justice needs to be done and she needs to be treated with dignity for sure, but this whole story is just a reminder that a clean life, a life lived well, is a reward all its own. I hope the case can be closed for her family. Also, that tabloid reporter needs to leave Lelia's child alone and not ask her questions like that. Tasteless. My best to the family.
