Well he was indeed not good for a decent game in the beginning, although for reasons the villain was not aware of. So you could try walking in the villain's shoes. Still, the battle is super cool and I root for our guy! And that's good filmmaking. Waiting for the modernized version though, where they show - in accordance with the more modern filmmaking trend - how the villain came to be the way he is. Like he was constantly bugged by poor players who ruined his games with his pals, and when put in their place, instead of taking it in stride, slashed his tires IRL.
