If I'm not mistaken, Agassi is the only man to achieve a "Career Super Slam" (winning the four Grand Slam tournaments, an Olympic gold medal, the Davis Cup and the ATP World Tour Finals). What a legend he was.

he was in 15 total GS (won 8) which is 8 less than how many Djokovic has just wins

@Milorad Djurdjic Rafa has 1 less grand slam than Joker as 2 of the 4 GS are played on hard court which is favorable to joker imagine it would be 2 GS on clay like earlier and no excuses on the injury to the left hander who was not there when joker had no challege by a top player.

@pleaseenteraname11037 місяців тому
I think his game was a bit more modern I think that’s why he had so much success in the Federer era. And he was pretty consistent against players like Roddick, Hewitt, and Safin, Sampras struggled against players like Safin and Hewitt. I think because of Agassi’s attacking game and because of his baseline style play he was able to play much better against players like that, while on the other hand samples serve and volley style didn’t quite hold up as well. I guess he was still consistently making it to the quarters and semis and even the finals of tournaments in his midto late 30s. He became if I’m not mistaken besides Ken Rosewall the oldest man in the open era to make it to a grand slam final after 2005 U.S. Open at 35 years old.

@sjjapp10 місяців тому
@@rishabhaniket1952 Agassi had a game that would better fit today's environment. I feel a lot of his game could remain intact but physically he'd be able to benefit from improvements in sports science etc. The whole tennis environment was different. Sampras was better suited to his time than Agassi was. Sampras, unlike Agassi, would probably need to completely switch up his equipment and change his game, improve his backhand, and so on.
