The table is from an idiom 曲水流觞, a way of drinking in ancient China. It became famous 1,700 years ago when a group of most famous scholars at that time (Jin Dynasty) gathered by a winding creek, drinking and writing poems. This is recorded in the most famous calligraphic work in Chinese history by Wang Xizhi, a witness of the event in a prose 兰亭集序. Those who attend are supposed to be able to make poems impromptu. At the end of the video, the diners try to come up with a poem he/she knows, reflecting the tradition.

I have soo many ideas for this authentic Chinese art work. I know my mother would love to serve tea on this absolutely stunning. This is the kind of content I like to see your grandmother is very luck to have you. And I do hope this changes how all Asian women are looked at.
