wow tysm! I wasn't expecting to get it yet after watching just one video and reading a few things online, but I understand it so much better now. I've never heard someone give such a good explanation of a semi-complex topic before :) --or at least, it didn't seem simple to me before haha. It was simple enough for anyone to follow, but you still went into the details to really understand what is going on, why, and how the variants interact. You're an excellent teacher!! Thanks for sharing this

great video, subscribed immediately !! One question, do you think would it be possible to have the induction power on a coil along a cable/wire and the the coil with the LED on a U shaped coil that hook on the wire to light it up? Just wondering can you have the power on a cable an be able to hook the LED coil in every point you like along this cable and be able to power the LED? thanks

This video is great. I was looking for this exact stuff. I have a question regarding wireless charging. I have to power a laser operating at 5VDC @ 110 mA. The laser is mounted on a rotating shaft. Is it possible to power the laser wirelessly? I intend to mount the receiving coil on the shaft, the transmitting coil can be 10 mm distance ( the shaft goes thru the center of the coils). The transmitting coil is fixed to the base. So now only the receiving coil rotates. Will the wireless charging work even if the receiving coil is rotated? Will speed of rotation matter? What if rotation is slow?

Great video. I am working on a project and I could use your help. Do you do consulting? I need two things. I want to make a wireless transmitter that is large enough to put a dozen receivers on top that will produce a charging voltage of 5 volts. Something the size of a dinner plate. Do I simply make a bigger wire coil? If I did would it overload when several devices are above it?

This is awesome tutorial, very useful for me. I want to make a inductor coil long, say 1.5m long. The receiver moves parallel to the coil, I only need 5V, 300 mA Is it possible to make this? Are there any readily available? I am trying to eliminate a drag chain used to carry power to a sensor.
