lightsabers are made up of light not a core of metal. this is a heatsaber not a lightsaber the word light in lightsaber is there because the blade is made up of nothing but light not metal and cloth.

Ye Old Saber tech this equates to Gundam Universal Century Heat Weapons Dom Heat Saber, Gouf Heat Machete, Zaku HeatHawks, need I say more? Beam Weaponry is Expensive to Manufacture let alone maintain a Strong enough Focus that it can Melt/Slice through Objects fast and efficiently. The Strongest Lasers/Lights exist on the Spectrums that Human Eyes cannot see let alone fathom. What you can see are Burn Lasers/UV rays/Plasma

What is a proto-Death Star?😂 He doesn’t call it a protosaber because he made it, he calls it that because a protosaber is actually a type of the lightsaber. @@jdajcman Yeah, if that actually was true I'd be a rogue dark Jedi. Full black prequel Jedi robes, yellow lightsaber, mastered both form 5 and form 7, then combine both forms in every duel so less chance of dying due to unpredictable and aggressive forms. Able to use force lightning. I'd be a peacekeeper of the force. Fighting in the shadows, forcing both factions to submit to the balance of the force.

@@jdajcman fuck yeah maybe even learn to influence the midichlorians to slow down time in your mind so in your meditating state you'd be spending hours on end learning new techniques and ways to manipulate the force in combat like starkiller, but as you wake from your meditation you only spent about 1 hour as you spent weeks in your psych learning new abilities.

You laugh but it's real. It's too inefficient for the government to use. But there are at least 300x as many of us as there are of them. Probably more. We get to spend gross amounts on inexcusable swamps. And the end result is we can field an actual protest of 10,000 lightsabers if we tried. This would be expensive but not impossible. 10,000 Hacksmiths out of 300million Americans = 1 in 30. In other words 1 guy per class. That's all it takes. We're probably closer to 1,000 than 10,000 but we are easily past 100. 100 Lightsaber armed maniacs can destroy so much before they're stopped.

It doesn't help if the robber has a gun. You could die because they might end up actually shooting you out of fear of their own death. Usually robbers just use guns as a power move, not normally killing people like in movies.

I like how at the start when you said that a lightsaber would require an astronomical amount of energy to work and then showed the clip from back to the future. Doc thought that it would be impossible to generate enough energy to run the car, the same way that we think that it's impossible to generate enough energy to operate a lightsaber. Maybe one day in the future somone will figure out how to do so, if we haven't destroyed the world first. Now, I know that a lightsaber would require a humungous amount of energy to work like in the movies but still, I thought I'd mention it.

0:48 Yeah well James, I personally *grew-up watching the 1991 Dragon Quest anime (Dai no Daibouken)* and so, I used to hold sticks/pencils in a reverse stance just to try and imitate Dai's *Avan Strash* attack from that show. Utilizing sound waves can make the light or reflect. The right pitch can even make light stop. I'm doing a project where I'm using sound waves to stop the heat from the reactors such as fusion reactors from expanding into the metal shielding. It dawned on me. You can use sound waves the same way to stop the energy waves of light from traveling distances. And even containing the light into a reflective beam stronger than even laser.
