The Coughing Captain Well I'm sure your videos are spot on then, and not the work of some hack hack. He gets an A+ for the effort in my book. Perhaps you should try and outdo him with your own channel, but try not to choke up. However I'll stick to watching this one, since the "huge difference" is he's more entertaining to watch. Good luck

It’s remarkable as to how many items are still being found from WW2. That field kitchen was a great find. The leather piece you found, were there some metal pieces in the holes were you found them? Very nice find. You can use the field kitchen for your lunch when you go out exploring lol.

I love when you find the personal items from the soldiers like the domino. I can imagine the soldiers sitting around playing different games to escape the war for a little while. Am still impressed with the field kitchen. It looked like it was insulated. You had a good a of searching.

Thats awesome, where I live in Texas, outside of town is an old abandoned military base from the ww2 era, the name of the town is Gainesville, I am a ww1 and ww2 history buff as well as a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom on the War on Terror. You have some very interesting finds, I wish you happy hunting in all your Ventures. Mabey one day you could check out this old base here in Texas, from what I have seen there are many, many bunkers, silos, and foundations that sit on basically what is now cow grazing land. Good Luck and Hapoy Hunting!

That buckle is from a Y-strap. It was used to attach the combat A frame. The Essentrager (Food carrier) were sometimes called a Thermokubal. Also the leather piece you called a scabbard is a bayonet frog. The scabbard was made of metal and attached thru the hole on that rounded piece.

Cool, just though I'd make a reference to an old Reddit post. Story goes a redditor named KnightOfSunlight posted a pic to r/whatisthisthing of a piece of metal he found metal detecting, unknowing to the fact that it was an italian landmine. It is believed that he accidentally set it off and died, evident from his lack of updates and sudden abandonment of his Reddit account. Call my joke fucked up but I couldn't help but see the connection between the two

I typically only equate history with war/violence/death. So, getting this kind of look at it is always pleasant. Especially because relic hunting/discovering is always super fun. Thanks for the videos. :)

Tänu pole väärt. (english - No problem) Also dont say that the soviets were great or dont say anithing saing that soviets are good. Because they were horrible bastards. Dont say this stuff in Estonia. And you might want to learn allitel bit of Estonian if you want to impress a Estonian..
