Thanks a lot for that great video! I'm always amazed that you find such spectacular spots, especially at a "new" rally like this. Makes a little bit for not being there myself this time. Hopefully see you around there next year :-)

Thank you! Yeah it was not easy but luckily most of them worked out even with some difficult marshalls that were new to the sport i think. Yeah you should go, cool place and I'm sure there will be new roads and cool places to see

I just love all these dozens of sounds that rally cars making. I can't understand and imagine how rally drivers and co-pilots make all these turns when you have like 4 meters wide of road... Amazing. Just freaking amazing!

I've raced SCCA at Sebring and other Florida tracks. We had many very talented drivers, but these WRC drivers are truly beyond awesome. Hats off to these guys!!!

Thank you! It's not easy to find the right places and knowing where you can be which we had some challenges with, but i only didn't find a place to film on the power stage fortunately

I've tried 50fps before but if often looks unnatural and shaky, you get more sense of speed with 25fps also. Thank you!

I use Dunlop Wintersport tyres here in Czech Republic, but I don't get traction in the snow as good as that. Maybe I'm not going fast enough.

Great shots Tor. I was wondering what kind of video rendering process you use, because your shots always look much more dynamic somehow, I don't know if it's the camera or some other effect that you do... Anyway, I heard that you've also experienced some problems with the safety marshals like we did... Sometimes we were even 2 hours before the stage started, and they were not letting us walk on the stage, but we just ignored them and kept going... Stupid rules this year... I've read the forum also... Ridiculous.

I use 25fps, that could be why? Nothing special, i always look for dynamic places to film rather than crash places since they can often be boring if nothing happens. Yeah it's a Sweden thing i think, had this issue on Likenäs before where you get stoped after 1km. At P2 on Vindeln you came into the gravel pit and you could only go right, opening clip of this movie is 1.5km to the left, much better and more open places there so makes no sense sometimes.

Sometimes you have one driver that you get good clips of on every stage, Neuville and Evans was always pretty good to watch this time. In Finland it was Breen. Wasn't meant to have so many clips of Neuville in the start though, i mixed up the Belgian and Swedish flag editing late at night lol

Considering that it's a wrc 2 car, the previous cars have most likely driven the snow off the road so that it's mostly gravel/hard ice. The stubs then make sparks by spinning on the gravel.
