Watching Xavi play is almost spiritual. He makes me feel like I'm watching football in it's complete form, yet I have so much more to see. He makes me thinks it's so complex, yet makes it look so simple

two words accurately describe xavi - genius/legend. he is a phenomenal player. u never see him giving the ball away and his close control, vision and passing are a joy to watch. barca really do play total football and xavi is their heartbeat. he is a joy to watch. btw i a man u fan!!.

Effortlessly good player. Don't think i have seen him have a bad game, his consistency amazes me. Hopefully this great man will be around to entertain on the pitch a while longer.

xavi and iniesta had the season of a lifetime that year. They are the reason why barca won it all that year. Xavi will be greatly missed whenever he retires but for now lets just enjoy watching him play.

2009 was Xavi's prime in terms of numbers and performance. Imagine a central midfielder who has 31 assists and 10 goals with a total of 41 goal contributions, the best midfielder in la liga, the best midfielder in uefa champions league and the best playmaker in the world. Just imagine it.

Uno de los mejores jugadores de todo los tiempos. Casi seguro que está entre los 10 mejores de la historia que ha dado este deporte. Y es que cada año que pasa su calidad va en aumento, no se hace viejo :D Gran persona, gran profesional. Sigue así Xavi, eres todo un ejemplo para el mundo del deporte.

xavi is probably one of the most complete players in the world. And definitely the most intelligent he makes everyone around him better. He is an awesome person too, still lives with his family in Terrassa and didn't let fame or fortune go to his head.

One of the best players in the history of the beautiful game, his vision, his passing, his through balls...beyond belief, he never ceases to amaze me, he's an absolute genius...a poet. I utterly love this player, by a clear mile the best midfielder I've ever seen. Shits over Gerrard, Lampard, Ballack or whoever...huge, 500 oficial games for Barcelona with 49 goals, 83 for Spain with 8 goals...those numbers are just outrageous, let alone his epic silverware...and he's only 29 years old.

this incredible thing with xavi is that he's not a greeat dribbler but he anticipates all the moves of the defenders and is always taking the perfectly right decisions... PLUS his technique and his quality of passing which is to me the best of europe ! Spain is so lucky to have players like this :(

great clip, one of the best xavi ones ive seen. can i just say, im an arsenal fan..but since 2003 ive really admired this barca team...& i know this is very debatable..but for me..xavi is the best passer in his generation...he is an absolute joy to watch..& were very lucky to witness players like him ,iniesta, ronaldinho, messi, & eto grace the same team..fantastic stuff.

Im a Real Madrid fan, but this is by far the best player in the world. He's not mediatic and people dont recognize Xavi's hard work in both Spain and Barcelona. He's the team's brain. He's responsible for the massive amount of titles he won with his team. It's trully a shame this guy hasn't received one or two Ballon D'Or.

I love how hard it is to steal the ball away from him. And his vision. It's like he has a radar and he knows where everyone is at all times. He is fucking Amazing, and has the titles to prove it. He has won everything a player can possibly win. Without a doubt one of the best midfielders of all time.

Xavi is one of the few players I have ever seen who can have 3-4 guys around him and it just doesn't phase him at all. Most players would try to get rid of the ball as quickly as possible in those circumstances or end up losing the ball, and Xavi will fake, control the ball, and wait until something opens up. His ball control and field presence (when his team has the ball) is absolutely out of this world. One player on their own has no chance of marking him effectively, let alone dispossessing

STOP COMPARING XAVI TO LAMPARD! Their playing styles are completely different. They also play in different leagues! You cannot deny Lampard's multi-dimensional game which got him Silvers in FIFA WPOTY and the Ballon D'or. Xavi field generalship, assists and never losing the ball lead Barca to 6/6 trophies and Euro Cup. This is apples to oranges. GREAT VIDEO! Xavi's concentration and awareness is ridiculous! It says something that Real Madrid fans pay their respects to this man.
