4:50 It is advertised as having 3x 'lossless' zoom, so that could explain why the 3x shots are better than the 2x ones, as they didn't specify the 2x mode as being lossless.

Having an OLED with high refresh rate at this price point is just so tempting. This itself and the not bad chipset and camera is just unbeatable. Nice one!

I'm very happy with this phone because it's rare for a new phone to have both 3.5mm jack and an SD card slot. I very much dislike wireless earbuds and using cloud services. The phone might not be perfect but it's the best one for my needs that I could find now. I love the panorama photos. Even when there are many people walking while I take a panorama photo, it doesn't make them look weird. I'm very happy with it and I can't wait to try the HyperOS soon.

My phone still hasn't received the HyperOS update but it should become available soon. I read that it's pretty much similar to MIUI but it makes the phone work much better and to deteriorate on a much slower rate.

@@jessicabarman4407 I believe it was a bit better before the last MIUI update 1-2 months ago but I still find it more than enough. Still waiting for that HyperOS update so my guess is that they purposely made it worse so the HyperOS update would make it much better haha

Shoppers beware - the 4G version of the Redmi Note 13 phone uses the Snapdragon 685 (6nm), and NOT the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 of this 5G version. Their benchmarks are wildly different, but GSM Arena doesn't have a separate listing for the 4G & 5G variants, which is frustrating, because if they only list the better specs, you could easily be disappointed if you eventually buy the cheaper model.

Only those wanting a top end games device would notice the difference... and many stores selling the 5G Dimensity version come with Chinese ROM's. The 4G, with its' 685 SOC is the more sensible choice for most people. Much cheaper, too!

@@phuketexplorer that may be the case, and I'm not disputing that - I just wanted people to be aware that it's not the same chipset, meaning the benchmarks might be different, so they might want to research it further instead of being disappointed once they've already bough it.

Received my Note 13 5G in Arctic white yesterday. It suits me fine cause I'm not a gamer or possessed by numbers and the highest level of processor. Using it for daily use as social media, email and watching movies. So far its awesome for my use. Just waiting for the new OS upgrade.

Movies look rly nice on this one. The AMOLED display is gorgeous. It has even a micro sd tray, which i upgraded to 1TB. Watching YT or movies makes lot of fun. Here in germany the price is dropped from 280 euro to 220 euro... for this price, redmi 13 5g is unbeatable.

You mean "4k HDR"... you need MX Player pro to watch 4k movies or Plex pass I watch all my movies from Plex server and ssd, no problem with 4k hdr at all 🤷♂

People's expectations are so high now, I am old enough to remember when you had to spend at least a grand to get something that gave you images that didn't look like washed out blurry trash. What you're now getting for the price is incredible. There are other phones with better camera for the price but other areas are compromised like screen or memory
