this song takes me back to when I had to move back into my parents house a few years ago because my life became really tough, they live near the sea side, I got a job in a hotel to try build up some savings to get my life back on track, it was one of the worst jobs I had ever had, I was talking to a close friend of mine who was helping me get through everything, he showed me yellow day's music, after every shift I would walk back to my parents place along the shoreline with my headphones on, I would play this ep/album to try to calm myself listening to the music merge with the sound of the waves, it was a very important life lesson and turning point for me and I will never forget the feeling, thank you yellow days and thank you Max for showing me his music, I wanna throw my friend Max some love as he's a music producer and heavily influenced by Yellow days, this is the least I can do, he's just released a new track, please try searching Lonely Gimmick - Beaches ,you may be in for a surprise and he would love to hear your opinion

reminds me of spring/ summer 2018. i was falling in love for the first time, and i listened to this song every day. i would stay out late and we would skate at the park, and then i would listen to this on the way home. one time i was in his car and i played him this song, bc i love showing him music, and he immediately knew the song and started singing along. life was a dream, the kind where the says burn together because each is the same, it was beautiful. god what i wouldnt give to go back to that time. i guess it’s just a memory. i miss the person he was.

Found this song during lockdown/COVID… with my girlfriend at the time. I sometimes wish for the world to slow down again so I could have long days with her just one more time. We don’t talk anymore, but she shows up in my dreams often enough to never forget her. For all our faults, the happiness is what I remember and miss most. Yellow days 💛💔

trying to accept myself and everything that's been happening. idk why my girlfriend of 3 years suddenly broke up and then i find out she started dating my best friend. then lost my grandma, all my cats died suddenly all at once. got covid the 3rd time and i thought this was it. i was gonna die. then found out my father (who was never there in my life and still isnt) has a stepson who he gives all his love to and everything. all this in just 2 weeks. this song is giving me company for the time being. hope i take some important learnings from these waves of betrayal and come out stronger.
