If people want to wear mask, let them wear one. Some people are going through sickness, allergies or surgeries and need extra precautions. People need to mind their own business.

I sat next to a coughing and sniffing masked guy on a four hour flight. He was visibly sick but he had the decency to wear a mask to protect us. I did ask to move seats but the plane was full so as asked the FA for a mask to also protect myself.

I have watched too many coworkers come back sick from work travel. The family and I all wore masks on our vacation trip. People were coughing on all flights. We got home in great health. As for the dude, he must feel safer sitting next to a guy hacking the whole flight.

I still wear a mask every time I fly, in the doctor’s office, and hospitals. I don’t know those people and what viruses they might have. My Aunt has coronary hypertension, bronchitis and diabetes . I live with her since my Uncle died. I can’t bring Covid home.

What bugs me about this the most is because I've known people WAAAY before COVID that wore masks. They had certain health conditions, and were following doctor's orders. For goodness sakes... I've worn a mask to cut my grass because of allergies since childhood. I recall in my youth sports organization this lady that was at least 10 years younger than me that wore one all the time back in 2016 or so. She would volunteer in every way possible. No one would say anything, but they'd just wonder what was her condition. I minded my biz til she opened up one day to tell me of her compromised & weak immune system. Of course, I knew of several older people that wore masks too. Long story short, mind your business... you never know if someone is suffering from something that they can pass on to you, which is them being courteous. Or, if they simply are following a doctor's orders. This world really sucks that caring for yourself and others has become some political stance in the eyes of way too many.
