My rule when my kids were young was that I can have a spotless home or happy healthy kids, I can't have both. And as someone who organizes and cleans as self care it was really hard for me to let go of what I thought I should be doing as a mom. But my kids are 15, 13, and 8 now and I'm happy I didn't spend their younger years being worried about a basket of laundry or dishes not being done right away. You're doing great!!
