By all means use more up to date sources but always critically evaluate any source. We know specific financial cycles repeat on approximate timelines, more worryingly we can expect a pandemic every ten years approximately, the next pandemics are already lined up and waiting a decision, the next will be much sooner. We can also learn from wars, how they were started and how much lies we are fed around those instances. We can look at the mistakes of civilizations passed, we should be learning from them yet we are Careering towards the same outcome. Sounds about right. Belief in God can be defined as believing in something that is highest Good. Not necessarily some old grandpa in the sky palace who controls everyone and everything. You believe in something because you think and are self-aware and JP says that the most good thing is God.
