People should stop making her whole identity “Tom Holland’s gf”. That’s where a lot of the weird questions stem from

Zendaya's look at the end is so genuine. It feels that way and am 100% sure is that way.

For real though, when it comes to Zendaya in particular, some people tend to overlook that actors kissing on screen is just acting and doesn't carry personal meaning. It’s done in a professional setting with a lot of other people in the room. It’s not romantic. The focus on her relationship with Tom and people’s fascination with it might contribute to this oversight and while her relationship with Tom is not exactly a secret it’s super private so some media outlets try to dig out anything on their relationship to capture a viral moment. Some journalists are even weirder than fans like no need to make her or her co-stars feel uncomfortable and ask cringy questions. I love how it was brought up here.

yeah they act like she is the only actress with a boyfriend too, it must be so tiring, like Tom is an actor too and knows it is a JOB.

THANK YOU for giving her the opportunity to address this! When the trailer first dropped so many viral tweets were made about her personal life that it was actually shocking. It's one thing for the public to mock or judge her but it's just wrong when journalists try to feed into it. You can clearly see it makes her and her costars uncomfortable.

I hope interviewers see this and take notes: STOP asking her weird questions about kissing!

Yeah Zendaya getting all those stupid questions about kissing has 100% to do with Tom Holland. If she was with somebody that's unknown, it wouldn't be a big deal. For example, Emma Stone did a hell of alot more than kiss in Poor Things. I didn't see people say how she could do that to her husband or be weird in interviews.

people say "how could she do this while dating tom" "tom is crying" and stuff. meanwhile (just for an example), emma stone is a MARRIED MOTHER and have nude sex scenes and no one says anything. 😂

it’s the way they bring up tom every time she’s kissing someone in a movie, like i’m sure as an actor tom understands more than anyone the nature of her work - it has to be some sort of clout chasing tactics or something cause there’s no way ppl are actually getting offended on tom holland’s behalf bc of an onscreen kiss 💀 they need to stop reducing her and her work to her boyfriend, just bc she’s in a relationship with him doesn’t mean she’s nothing outside of him, she’s got a job and is just doing what the job requires of her, these ppl act like she’s cheating on him or something…

Only two people should ever do interviews with actors, 1) Jake - seriously, always a pleasure to watch because he just knows how to converse. 2) Ali (Plumb) - Never makes the interview feel like I'm just watching an interview. Would love to see these two paired up. Maybe interview each other 😂.

Funny thing is that remember it being less of a big deal back in 2017 with The greatest showman even though interviewers were gagging over Zac saying that the kiss he shared with Zendaya in the film was the best kiss he's ever had on screen and it was a lil awkward when they (the interviewers) brought it up to Zendaya in interviews which is understandable because Zac gave the interviewers something to talk about that's clickbaity but back then it wasn't as awkward as it is now knowing her relationship status

People are only asking about the kissing scene’s because THEY (the movie editors) used it as bait for people to see the movie. They knew it would cause headlines and that it would go viral. That’s why in the FIRST trailer they used that shot of Zendaya’s face and the 3 of them kissing. I don’t like how disingenuous they’re acting, like dude YOU read the script and knew that scene was in there and agreed to do the role, THEN you rehearsed the seen multiple times and filmed it. THEN you watched the trailer and saw the finished product. Why are you acting like you didn’t know people would make it viral?? we understand that it’s your job and that it’s normal but let’s not act like you didn’t know what you were doing with the promo of this movie. The world knows you’re in a public relationship with another well-known actor and they’re obviously going to ask you questions about that. Now they’re seeing you in this movie role and of course they’re going to ask questions to stir up headlines. Kissing other actors is a part of your job as an actor, but so is promotion.

Also it seems that the world is acting like she's in a relationship with a coworker or in the same field. And it seems that the young actress is getting to ask this question. You don't get, Emily Blunt or Blake Lively or JLO etc about kissing scenes.

They ask her because she was once a child actor and that perception lingers despite her growth into adulthood. Also has what some may say is a clean image.

Ken(the interviewer) even bringing up the kissing scene is lame. It's a movie, they are actors. Unfortunately I've become so jaded, I don't even get caught up in the drama of the storyline anymore. Might be my old age, too much history. I am considering the acting, directing, special effects and making of movies when watching. It's impossible for me to get ensconced into a movie of any genre.

I think we all have to talk about this acting like kisses or sex-scene. I mean why is it first of all necessary to bring such kind of scenes. And another question is, why there are doing such kind of things? Like actors and actresses who have merriages. And then they say, it is just an acting? Nothing personal? I think it is betrayel to husband, boyfrined, wife or girl. Just simple as that. If your girl kisses other mnns lips, with tongue, and then say just like it is a movie, it is just acting, that is brutal, that is betrayel. Such kind of scenes in movies is not necessary, because it is porn. In films it is soft porn, but it is still porn. When woman kisses another man, and then go to her husband and kisses him again and say, thats was just movie. That is hard and brutal. Maybe you do not understand now, what I am writing about, but you need time to understand that. And also you need a heart, a pure and faithful heart, to understand my words.
