The first computer I ever owned was a ZX Spectrum+ (This is the same circuit as the old rubber key model but with a better keyboard, ours was actually an upgrade from the rubber key version). I’ve got a few plans for a couple of videos checking out the signals and interfacing some logic to this, how much depth I go into will depend on the response. This was sold “as-seen” so I take a bit of care checking things before switching it on. Both the power connector and the output resistor in the modulator were loose, so this wouldn’t have worked (at least not reliably) but I fix those issues as well as modifying the output for composite video.
