The way it should be is that you put what you'd like to go in order and then it plays out like that for the wedding. I hate that you can't just sit and watch your sims get married. You've gotta play god and be constantly clicking. Why can't the game just know that the ring bearer is after the flower person??

My husband offered to buy and even DL the newer sims 4 game for me for free...i said hell no 80 times until he bought me the entire Sims 3 package for only like 120/140. Literally cant stand EA/Maxis and and what theyve done to the Sims franchise. Yeah, it's new and different, but I'd rather play the sims sims 2 or sims 3 over this new one i tried out any day. Its cartoony, trying to be more realistic modern and woke, but lacks the depth, creativity and MAGIC that the other games all acheived.

I can already tell that I'm too lazy for this pack with the high level of micromanaging you have to do in order for each task to cross off the list. At max the only goal I have for weddings is just for the two sims to exchange their vows, after that it's honestly a free for all. Because I only have the base game I don't have nearly as many goals so weddings can be over pretty quickly for me. Personally, I don't mind since I feel like it's not that deep. In the sims the only goals that matter after the exchange of vows is making everyone dance and eat food, once they do that, I'm usually satisfied and just end the event there. 😂 I don't need the specifics of how weddings are supposed to go in real life because I'm just going to end up screaming at me sims. basically, all I'm saying is that I like to keep it simple😅

How do i enable cheats

In case no one commented this yet, the trash isn't generative, it's a placed decoration. That's why it's not in other worlds. But if you want to place it all the different trash piles are in the live edit items. I'm disappointed the piles don't have interactions to tidy them up cause it would be a great gameplay way to clean up the neighborhood and get bits for fabrication in the process.

Snowy Escape is fundamentally flawed skiing and Japan really but when I think of Skiing I think an alpine village not Japan it’s just so jarring you watch a Asian pack make an Asian pack you want to Skiing then give us an alpine world honestly Sony escape just doesn’t work.

The fears drive me nuts. I've got an astronaut afraid of the dark. It's buggy if you use potion on darkness fear for some reason. The fire fear makes you more likely to start fires. it's ridiculous. i burnt 3 stoves in a row up cooking 1 meal per stove. And i was starting with low funds. Scared of a thunderstorm is also silly unless your a child.

I only play young adults because the other life stages are tedious as all hell.

I bought Sims 4 in its mid-life, because I saw the early reviews, saw how gutted the game was, and said "heck no". When I picked it up, a lot of the glaringly missing features had been added back. Yet still the gameplay feels hollow. The Sims lack personality, the worlds are empty, there's not enough stuff to interact with. I miss the chaos of Sims 2 when random stuff would just happen and you couldn't control it if you wanted to.

4:14 Also emotions in the sims 4 are always so over the top that they just feel gimmicky most of the time. Take "confident" for example. Oh wow your sim repaired his radio and now he is strutting everywhere and laughing all the time. Or "embarrassed". Your Sim made a bad joke and is now completely unable to have any kind of proper interaction without making it akward.

My main character is a alien girl she married they had an alien baby and then my wife got abducted I wasn't even trying to or realized it happened hoping no pregnancy lol still raising first baby

One sim was randomly abducted the moment he got home from work one day, and his nephew used the "contact aliens" option when it came up on the computer, and now they're BOTH pregnant at the same time

For some reason, I'm not getting winterfest options on my box of decorations. It says I can rummage for winterfest, but the option to decorate the fences and eaves with lights and stuff is not there. I saw where someone was experiencing this with apartment dwellers, and I just became a landlord, but I still live in my house with my family. So I'm wondering if it's really messing up the game or if this is just a glitch or I'm doing something wrong that I forgot to do. 🤔

Modders hold the whole game on their back. What would we do without them. I was a console player for a while so I definitely appreciate them more now that I have a setup that can house my thousands of cc and mods. The game is simple not the same without them lol

could you pls update gameplay overhaul and dine out reloaded to be used together and compatible with new patches? it forces game crashes, glitches in animations and for some reason while using it, my sims can't eat and drink at the same time
