Not enough people commit to learning to play an instrument today.

Saw them once at the '74 Cal Jam 1, where they headlined (appropriately) a ten act all day concert. Greg Lake's voice is mesmerizing.

Lloraba de emición a los 17, sigo llorando al día de hoy, agradecida a esta banda x acompañarme y darme ésta misma maravillosa experiencia a travez de toda mi vida, hasta el dia de hoy.
Not a bad collection but one glaring omission. Where is the outro solo for “On the Turning Away”?

I was lucky indeed to see them at the old Cleveland Stadium in the early 70’s during their Brain Salad Surgery tour. WMMS, ELP and Blodder. That was my childhood. Omg. So fantastic. To this day I don’t know if Kieth Emerson’s organ really revolved or was that the acid? Carl Palmer absolutely shredded percussion. God I love this band. Greg Lake’s voice was amazing. I also still love King Crimson. Takes me right back to my happy youth. Anyone who saw them live consider yourselves lucky indeed.

David's solos paint a beautiful picture. All of them. It's like another voice. Plus his voice is perfect. If it wasn't for David Gilmour pink floyd would have drifted off into obscurity but we'd all still know who he is because he would have been successful with or without Roger. Love his lyrics but it's a fact.

Remember shag haircuts? I'm an old man now but so glad I came to age in late 60's/early 70's it was the best of times. We had Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, Airplane, Alice Cooper, Santana, Sabbath, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, ELP, Jethro Tull, this list could go on forever.

At the time of EL&P, everyone was in the top three in their instrument category. It's one of those bands that you start to "understand" after 20 times. Yes, at that time there were three great keyboard players - Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, John Lord. The band was interesting, it's best to listen alone, under the influence of alcohol, for me they are associated with "Lucky Man" and Carl Palmer, who was one of the founders of the super band ASIA. That collective was already very close to my heart...

eine der ganz wenigen Bands, die Live genau so gut oder besser klingen, wie im Studio, heute mit meinen 75 Lenzen liebe ich diese Musik, diese tollen Musiker immer noch genau so wie früher, danke Phil und Co.
