Sliding friction on an aluminum tray causes black fine dust that covers items that you have in there. You'll be needing a liner or a rubber mat for the tray.
@larryshillings667226 хвилин тому
Unless the tray has a special coating to prevent that.

Yep, jealous of your purchases. New podcast title - "Buying $hit with the Morgans". I loved this channel in early days when I could relate to all of the rural outdoor tractor etc related projects. Fortunately if I need a Morgan fix, I can go watch the old episodes. Don't watch it much anymore, except I do enjoy your trips to West Virginia. Cheers!

It would be a helpful bit of information to know price ranges for their different sized machines. Comparable to track loaders? Thanks Mike.

Looks like you could use a hydrolic dump trailer. You could make money with it use it in your log yard rent it out 250.00 per day plenty of used for it. I like this price of equipment you have been testing out as long as it can replace other pieces of equipment and you could sell some others. Thanks for the post love watching this channel

$55,000! I'll bid the job now since the truck won't reach. $100,000 minimum! Good lord! No foundations at that rate, so one hell of a curb/ sidewalk pour! I have to come back and watch this later. Life is pricing me out of existence!

When I was a young man I had lots of seat time in the big Cat wheel loaders. I noticed that the AVANT is like the old Huff loaders of my day. On the Cat the operator rode with the engine. On the Huff you rode with the bucket. After years of riding with the engine getting on one that you rode with the bucket, made for some very awkward things to happen.

Tie ropes to the hose to make it easier to move it.

Realistically either qualify for medicaid or live out of the country. Many parts of Latin America you can easily do off grid for $2 grand a year.

Nice machine.

Well that is awesome that a factory rep came out and talked about the machine. I was wondering about an adapter plate especially for someone like yourself Mike with all the attachments you have
@garycox750812 годин тому
finding a way to put some handles on that concrete hose would do wonders for how much effort it takes to run that pumper. Even just some creative use of ratchet straps to form some rudimentary handles at strategic points would be a night and day difference versus how the crew was doing it in that test application.

Hey Mike how about hooking the concrete hose to the Avant somehow and running it. Be a big back saver! Just thinking outside the box?
@richmyers460213 годин тому
I'm sure you know this Mike but for the other fans out there remember with this type of machine remember the lift capacity is dependent on the counter weight on the rear. So you lose weight capacity when you turn and you can roll over on a sharp turn with a heavy load, especially if you have it lift high.
@dandaniels455813 годин тому
Wow, talk about being informed. That fellow knows Avant machines inside & out in his sleep. Hes definitely the right one to be touring and answering questions or reaching new owners how to use them. The only thing I didn't hear is the pride of a well optioned largest model like you rented there.I can't imagine the word cheap or inexpensive would explain the price. What an addition to your arsenal of machines, though. I seen the black stripes on the sides so tell them you want orange stripes on the side to match the rest of the machines you have.

I think a lot of people in the comments don't realize how tough and knotty Australian wood is. Most push through firewood processors are too weak, and in my experience, a basic single blade splitter is faster, compared to the amount of times it gets jammed (talking about Australian hardwood). Australians mostly burn hardwood. I use to operate the smaller Rex 600.

Concrete looked too thick.
@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans15 годин тому
You seem to know a lot about concrete, would have thought you would have noticed how the forms were set and there was a gap under them. Tom wanted the concrete that way so he didn’t lose a lot under the forms. What I try to do is this, when you see a guy like Tom who has been pouring concrete for 35 or 40 years and something doesn’t make sense to you there is always a reason why they do things a certain way.
