Yeah, no. People don't watch women's football because it's not invested in by media companies etc. The lack of funding leads to a lack of quality coaching at all levels and thus poorer performances. BUT, the level of performance is RAPIDLY improving and it's great to watch. These gaffs could be seen across the men's game too, but because it's women you're cherry picking and calling out the developing game. Shame on you.

i've always said with women's football it's a good watch and some good play until you get to goalkeepers. And the majority of them are too small for the goals and there is a decent mistake most games.

While professional male athletes play football/soccer and most other sports at a higher level of skill and ability than female athletes, it's a pity most men do not recognize the background of most women football/soccer players. For many women, the professional levels of football have been unavailable or inaccessible to most women throughput the world. The ability to develop skill levels has been for the most part hindered as has been the same with access to advanced coaching because of a lack of funds. But the hatred and mockery by many male commenters here show a level of sexism and immaturity that is both hilarious and sad in themselves. Considering that these armchair fans are most likely in far worse physical condition than these women athletes, their best recourse is to learn and shut up.

To be fair, I’ve seen men’s teams with similar goalie issues as shown in the first part of this video.
