A nice illustration of some mechanical principles - thank you. One of the more subtle issues is that more gearing is required because the centrifugal clutches are more of an on-off device, only fully engaging at over half the full rev range. This means that without the correct set of ratios they are always slipping or only work with downhill / gravity assistance, and a push start is absolutely needed. Am gonna have a go at a 3 or 5 speed rear internal geared hub 4 stroke engine version.

Looks like I've got the same question as many others on here. Could you please put some text or voice over on your video to explain what settings and specifications you actually set the engine to when rebuilding it. You showed me a very cool clip of you setting the exhaust valves, but that gave me absolutely no information on how to actually do it. The best reference I can find online for anyone else that reads this comment is to set your exhaust. 003 and your intake to .004 I've also found other videos on UKposts that recommend setting them both to .004

если не ошибаюсь, то при такой передаче и оборотах в среднем 4500 в минуту....скорость самоката будет около 60-70 км час или буксовать сцепление..поездишь недолго.. шестерня напрямую....значит средние обороты 4500 минимум... это в минуту.. умножим обороты на 60 минут в часе...разделим передаточное на 3, приблизительно... возьмем 10 дюймовое колесо где-то 0,75 метра на оборот... итого 4500*60=270000 затем делим на 3 =90000 умножаем на длину 0,75 и делим на тысячу =67,5 средняя скорость...ну как то не реально....точнее немыслимо...плюс подшипник быстро выйдет из строя

This has to be the dictionary definition of "who cares, just do it anyway". That trike looks uncomfortable, slow, unstable, very high centre of gravity and skinny wheels.. weight slung behind the axle but since you have tiny little wheels you'll never bite hard enough to tip over but jesus, this thing is just a giant waste of money. How long did you ride it before you scrapped it or changed it to something usable?
