Very good interview. Unfortunately it also shows the mess christianity is in. While all very interesting, it's all theory and reflects the modern day church perfectly... all theory with no substance and being occupied with all kinds of extra biblical stuff, thinking we're doing the work of God, while ignoring what Jesus told us to do. Theology is the church worst enemy, turning it from what was very practical in the first century into a theoretical religion void of power, talking about all kinds of things that hardly pertain to godliness and life in Christ. The church is too busy discussing doctrines and theories, it's as Paul saidl, having a form of godliness, but denying it's power.

But If Paul meant "Falling away " I would ask from what ? You would likely say the faith. But I would point out the Paul did not say what. IF He meant the faith, then why not say that as he does in 2 Tim 4:1? Also if the Greek word aposticia in Paul's day meant falling away, why is it that the first 7 or 8 Bibles ever made translate the word as departure meaning rapture ?
