for anyone that doesn't know much about golf, the level of play that was just displayed (missing 3 foot putts, getting par then immediately collapsing with 4 over on the next, not even getting off the ground) isn't uncommon, i would say at least 75% of golfers's scorecards will look like that almost every time they play.

Brown are the highest in output with a relative low cost in imput. Like the blue. If you do some statistic in terms of possible combinations of dice the most probable are the mean of those dice. Right next to them the second most probable is the higher by 1 point and the lowest by 1. The average with 2 dice is 7 (sum 1+6 and then divide by 2 for the mean value of the die, the multiply by the number of dice). Right after the most common result is 6 and 8. The sum is 21. But it happens that you receive also results like 2, 3, 4 or 10, 11, 12. For the last one you can sum just one of the most 3 frequent dice. (Having 6, 7, 8 happen in less than 50% of the cases). For 2 3 4 you can realize it with two throws of the 3 most common results. Here you are why they are convenient, on a yield basis and math basis. Add that when you exit from prison the probability of getting 6,8 or 9 is a little higher than 30%.

The Browns are a total red herring and not a winning strategy. You're not doing anything more than stealing $200 from passing Go and the leaders of the game are drawing their income from developed properties that pay much higher than $200 at a faster frequency. Same goes with light blue, but you can get an early lead with them. However, being sent to jail completely skips that entire side of the board and removes any danger. You might not collect $200, but you won't be paying $200-$600 either. If you're playing with a sucker that over values light blue and brown and is willing to complete your Orange or Red monopolies in exchange for Light Blue or Brown, call it a tough trade and a hard bargain because that's a killer deal. Only trade worse than that is helping someone complete Orange/Red for a Green/Pink monopoly. Pink might be on the right side of jail, but it's proximity to jail means that there are only a small combination of dice rolls that can hit 3 or 4 and rolling a 1 is impossible, so you'll only land on 2/3 of Pink any time you're leaving jail. You have much higher chances of rolling a 6, 8, 9, or 11. Green is even worse because the Go to Jail square looms heavily over the 3rd side of the board and landing on it can protect a player from the Green/Blue tiles for 3-6 turns. Green's development cost are the highest in the game and have the lowest rent frequency meaning that you're just losing money on them constantly whereas Blue has higher odds of landing on them with lower development costs. By the end game, landing on a Brown hotel isn't going to do anything significant besides stealing your Go $200. Boardwalk, which is right next to Brown, commands $2000 with a hotel. While Brown might be cheaper, Boardwalk has a card that sends players directly to it and they can't rely on Go for a quick $200 stimulus either so it's much more effective at killing a player off. But really you need to be focusing on the 2nd and 3rd side of the board. Orange, Red, and Yellow are all perfectly placed after jail and have the ability to be hit multiple times before a player ever passes Go because of jail and cards. In most games, all players will have a mixed assortment of properties and the real winning strategy comes in how effectively you can convince other players to trade with you in winning deals. Your trading partner is either going to have 1 or 2 properties of the color you want. If they have all 3, they're not going to trade them because it's already a monopoly and if they have 0, then there's nothing to trade for (but if a certain color is owned by 3 separate players, then you could make a seemingly innocent trade for their "random" properties). So, you want to do everything you can to get them to turn over the property you need which might require you to complete their monopoly in return. Check the bottom line, is your opponent willingly completing their Light Blue/Browns in exchange for you gaining a Red or Orange monopoly? If that's the case, don't give them time to think. Just close the deal and let them regret it later. $1200 hurts a lot more than $600 and has a much higher frequency of being landed on.

The fact that the sound effect for the ball hitting the alley plays almost the same time that the ai falls to the ground is so funny to me. 8:54 "Okay, here I go" *throws bowling ball* "Oh, shit, I'm falling!" kaTHUNK. 9:17 "Come, on. I got this." *Ball gets yeeted* "Ah, fuck!" daBONK. 9:44 "Don't fall over, me. I can do this." *uses all body strength to throw ball, losing all balance.* "Ahh! Trust fall, please!" whaBLAMO! 9:57 "Let's get this spare, even though my back still hurts." *Throws bowling ball.* "AH!" *Faceplants directly into the ground* *hits a single pin* 10:19 This one just has so much impact omg 10:29 *Stands completely still* *Slips on invisible banana peel* THUNK! *refuses to elaborate* 10:50 OMG THE SOUND ONLY PLAYS WHEN HIS HEAD HITS THE GROUND. Now that's what I call: repeated head trauma.

@KiraiKatsuji2 дні тому
I know i'm late but i think that for greater stability you could give reward system of lowering it's center of mass which should be bending it's knees which real snowboarders do, and also for it to steer to left and right i would also propose a system of the more distance traveled more points, and going not in a straight line would do that
