Glitch by parkway drive would be super cool. Or or or soul bleach. That would a wild perspective to hear.

He actually explained this during the Salival tour (if you will). The difference in hate and anger. Destructive and constructive behaviors. Anger is constructive because instead of fighting someone, he’s gonna create a song and sing his anger out. Hate would have him doing physical damage to himself and others. It’s also why he doesn’t scream much anymore. When he does, it’s extremely selective and has major purpose. What good does it do someone to continue to scream about the same things over and over? There is no growth. I digress. Your reaction video had me in tears. Thank you for that. The more people begin to hear the depth of Tool, the more free we become… I know that sounds weird, but some of us cannot afford therapy lol. Tool is exactly that. A Tool, to be used, I believe, for the ultimate self awakening. Thank you again.

Taylor Jonathan Davis's parent was divorced when he was 3 years old. HIs father was a keyboardist for county legend, Buck Owen of Bakersfield sound and rock pioneer, Frank Zappa. After the divorce, Davis lived with his mom, but experienced bad situations at home. Then Davis moved to his father's place. Living with his father and now, stepmother made him felt that Davis ruined happy family life there. There is where Davis was inappropriately touched by a family friend of his father's. Song, "Daddy" is based....Davis insisted that his father is not guilty of the touching, but his father and stepmother didn't believe him.

I'll write this if you think it might help someone, I suffer from extreme Anxiety and Depression and/or possibly Borderline Personality Disorder? WARNING: This is similar to the video Obviously, I've never been in the physical condition of this man. If you take out the parts about the missing arms, legs and voice, I can identify with every single word! There was a time when I simply could not function AT ALL! I could not work, drive, watch TV, food tasted like paste, I had sweaty, scary nightmares EVERY night. I constantly drank water because my mouth was so dry. My speech was impaired by the tightness of my jaw and neck muscles, etc, etc. I lost mostly EVERYTHING! My wife, my home, my job, not really my children but now they are grown and gone. In 2008 I spent 1 month in a mental hospital for suicidal thoughts. In about 2017 I attempted suicide and didn't tell anybody that I crawled out of a freezing ocean because I couldn't take the pain of the freezing water or the sensation of drowning. Once I got years of medication, therapy, trained in martial arts (meditation), it got somewhat better. Now I can drive, do projects and watch pretty much anything on TV ( I know but that was a big deal to me). I'm still mostly alone and can't take much stress without starting to slide backward. I live in a room in my sister's house but I don't hang out with her or her husband, I stay in my room when I'm home accept to cook and use my bathroom. I pay rent and I have a workshop away from home to keep busy fixing motorcycles and building stuff.

Holy Sh!t. I’m left speechless by this. Not only does it quote one of the interludes in “The Tales” on Spotify but it ties into the entire trilogy. Incredibly written and powerfully delivered. I really hope Ren sees this. I reckon he’d absolutely love everything about it. As do I. #renmakesmusic #renegade ✊🏼🐷❤️🔥

I think it's really fucking sad how often sexual assault happens to children. I listen to a lot of metal and rock and the amount of musicians and people in general in the scene have been assaulted in general is insane. They're often such kind people but so many of them have been through absolute hell. I already liked the alternative lifestyle (I relate most to the grunge subculture) but myself being assaulted made me lean into it even more because metal and rock actually talks about these things

Wow, loved that. I don't know if I've seen an artist that has inspired so much creativity in others as Ren has. I can't imagine how many people will one day be affected by art that was either made by Ren, made by people inspired by Ren, or made by others inspired by THOSE people. Although he doesn't realize it, the ripple effect from Ren will indeed make the difference in enough people's lives that I think you can say that he changed the world.

I still love the singer's mic from this era of Korn. It was designed by HR Giger. Very stylized bio-mechanical design.

Hey Taylor i love what you’re doing and love watching your videos. I’m an EDM DJ for many years who struggles with mental health. I listen to metal as my favorite genre to help cope. I’d love to see you do Alpha&Omega by King 810

I admit…I was sceptical…but this was incredible. Very worthy of the tales. It was good from the start…and then there was the moment when he said the name Patrick was stuck with him and I felt awkward, that he’d made a mistake - and then like you, I realised it was Screech calling for his friend, calling for someone…and I was in tears, and they didn’t stop to the end. Definitely worthy - I hope Ren finds this!
