What a neat video! What are you feeding the little hatchling? I put up an owl box with camera and this year for the first time my mated pair nested in the box. All 5 eggs hatched and it's been amazing to watch them so far. Hoping they all make it.

I’m so sorry for your loss. 🙏 Of course family is more important. I had your first Fable video saved in watch later list for 2 years. Yeah I know. I’ve been finally going through all of the list. I love Ravens and birds of prey. Any bird really but Ravens have a special place in my heart. Hope you are doing well and take care of you!

They prefer to run around on the ground, that is the way it is in Argentina / Patagonia. They are amusing birds, they stand by the roadside looking very serious and pompous, waiting for roadkill or food tossed out of cars. And they jog away from the road, just far enough to avoid the car at it passes, then they go back to where they were standing watch. Not easy to intimidate! An Argentinian phrase says, ""No gastes pólvora en chimangos" / "Don't waste gunpowder on chimangos" (another type of caracara) because they are so numerous and determined.

Where can I adopt a raven? I am in Tucson Arizona.
