I used the sky train in Vancouver. It was fast and easy! We walked to an airbnb, and back to the sky train the next day to get to port! However, the Vancouver Port has been the worst port I've been to.

Its funny you mention website...I find it very hard to find things on your website.. We are doing our 1st princess in Nov on Ruby Princes.. Confused when you mention LOVE BOAT is this something that is just for Princess?? Is there a connection to Love Boat. to Princess.??

We are currently on the WC on Coral Princess. So far, so good. We were, of course, disappointed about losing Sri Lanka, Suez Canal, etc BUT the new ports of Mauritius, Capetown, Namibia and Cape Verde PLUS the additional FCC and OBC Princess gave us more than compensates for our disappointment! The sailing looks to be terrific: 17 production shows! Food has been excellent. 7:43

We were lucky to visit Kotor and also take the bus trip up the hill thru the 26 hairpin turns. Still on Viking Mars, in Crotone, Italy today. May 1st is a holiday in Italy and most all stores are closed.

Watched your life show Wednesday am , it was live AT 1 am , only 11/2 days on the Regal Princess left, it's been a great experience.

I agree about the movies, great and interesting selection, not all available on major streaming platforms so there will always be something you haven't seen.

So far so good on the World Cruise on the Zuiderdam. Only 10 days to go! Handwashing stations at every entrance of the Lido but no crew monitoring. I’m looking forward to the Love Boat cruise and all group cruises with Allison and Gordon! Great fun!

We are on the Sapphire princess right now. The captain gives us a daily update on norovirus cases. We were doing good until our last port stop. Cases up slightly today. We are amazed at the people upset about being asked to wash hands before the buffet. The crew is continuing to serve in the buffet which is fine eith ud.

My dream is to go on a world cruise 🤩

Look at all the recent Princess ads - the marketing team at Princess are all too young to understand that The Love Boat is a huge draw for us old farts! 😉

We find Princess is the most lax about handwashing.

Allison, I was on the 2024 WC ( got off in FLL) and they were selling the 2025 and it was never going through the Suez canal. The itinerary is very similar to the 2024 cruise, they gave us the the 2026 WC and that is showing through the canal without any stops! If that really takes place, the European portion is different than in 2924/25!

I was very upset on the Enchanted Princess. The lack of hand washing was unbelievable. That being said, the soap dispensers hardly dispensed and soap. 🥺

The last Love Boat cruise was Oct 2022, my first cruise. ❤ Wish it had a VIP in that prior sailing.

Thank you for checking on the Love Boat cruise. I do believe it used to show on the website, but I may just be remembering it from the Discovery cruise. Nothing has been said on the Facebook group for the cruise, and I believe R W Martin (you might remember him as the guy dressed as Doc😊) would have heard something by now. He had some inside information quite a while ago that another Love Boat Cruise was in the works so he should hear if it the event has been canceled. Love Boat or not, we plan to go! Lois

Allison, We are onboard the Regal and heading to the Sun on May 4 I asked at the ocean now desk as our sun booking is inactive No boarding passes, dining or speciality dining reservations show up. I was told there will be no fixes until the next full update and there is no timeframe for that. It will be an interesting time during boarding and getting everything fixed with the customer service desk and dining manager. All is supposed to be ready to go but I cannot verify anything

I had a long "chat" on the Princess site. I explained that cruises are not all showing. I have a back to back each scheduled under their own booking numbers. However, they grouped them together on the app. Only the 1st part of the b2b is showing excursions. They insisted that it is correct. It is not. I should be able to see all ports.

I’m on the 5/25 sailing and just noticed the change in Montenegro. A little disappointing? Yes, but let’s face it, I’m going to be sailing in a beautiful region with perfect weather on a gorgeous ship. Not a lot to complain about. I can’t wait!

Alison, my husband and and I are currently on the Sun Princess in Santorini. We took a tender to the island today. No problems.

The thing that upsets me is I carefully picked my excursions way ahead of time. Now the best one is canceled and I'm left fighting 4000plus people for one when I get on the ship

For anyone considering Tours by Locals, we have used them two times before, and we were very pleased with both experiences. One thing we really liked is that the operators will adapt to your interests and needs. Many of their prices seem high but usually will cover more than just two people so if you add two or three more to your group, it makes the per person rate better..

Just wanted you to know we are sailing in the Mediterranean on the Sun Princess from April 27 - May 18. Today, April 30, we are in Santorini. They had the tender platform working today.

Only watch about one movie on a cruise. Seems we are so busy we don't have time.

I just got off HAL Nieuw Amsterdam in Vancouver yesterday. I must say that disembarkation didn't seem as well organized as Princess (when I disembarked in Vancouver 2 weeks prior) -- no posted time to vacate your cabin, no waiting in public areas for your disembarkation window, so when I arrived at Deck 2 from Deck 8, the HAL representatives said, "Oh, we already called your group." I had boarded in San Diego, where ours was the only ship in port. I would not like being told I could not board a ship until 2 p.m. As for Southwest. I fly them when at all possible -- you can cancel up to 10 mins before flight time for full credit. If the price drops, you can rebook at the lower price and have the credit to spend later. Of course, there are also 2 free checked bags and the most generous carryon allowance in the business. Since I live in Phoenix, I routinely fly in on the morning of for ships departing Los Angeles/San Pedro or San Diego. There are multiple flights.

I sent you an inquiry about port calls to Rome and Barcelona, you responded in detail within 24 hours. I received an itinerary change notice from Princess, port call to Kotor on Jun 17 be replaced by Bar and excursions are being worked on. Called to my Princess Planner received no response. Thank you Allison for your daily updates on cruising. I only cruise on Princess. I make my bookings online and call new assigned Princess Planner with no service provided from him. I will contact you for my future booking if you are available.

We were on the Sun a couple of weeks ago - No Kotor (cancelled 2 days before the embarkation! ). We went to Bar instead. Thankfully we chose to be coached into Kotor despite the 1.5 hour travelling because those that stayed in Bar were really really disappointed. Our journey passed quickly too due to the great tour guide who was very informative. We also got into Santorini - only ship in but we still created a long queue for the cable car coming back to ship and the landing dock was towed to and from the Sun but it worked fine (to the observer). Despite paying a future cruise deposit - we’ve actually booked the Celebrity Ascent. I just cant get over the extremely poor customer service from Princess.

I'm sailing on the Sun Princess in mid-June. I'm in a larger group, and we just got the heads-up that Kotor is out and Bar is in instead. Lots of very unhappy people. Oh, and we've also been having the issue with booking dining. Our group leader (who's also our travel agent) told us that Princess told him we won't be able to book any specialty dining until we board the ship!

Apparently not all reserve mini suites are included in the sanctuary class on the Sun princess. We are booked on the Cabana deck (deck 9) in February, and I don't believe that we are included in the Sanctuary class.

Yes, you’re right. I’m sailing on Sun on 1 June and both Santorini and Kotor have been removed. Replaced by Chania and Bar. Not happy about this. At all.

I don’t like clutter at our table either. I would want the soda cans removed instead of piling up. It’s the same at land restaurants. When you get a refill of a drink they bring a new glass but always leave the finished glass. I always have to ask them to remove it. Seems like that would be automatic. As soon as my plate of food is finished they are quick to remove it. But for some reason they are slow to move the drink glasses. 🤷‍♀️

Question? we are first time cruisers and heading to Alaska on Discovery. We have not made reservations for the main dining room. Is it usually a long wait for the MDR? Thank you!
