I do well on paster sticks push it in to boilles so it holds 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 boilles together so wen you catpult them out thay stay together on the bottom then put 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 boilles on hair rig and do a long gap from the hook I do really well on that i put out around 2 kg of boilies out like that then 2 kg of boilies out as well but catpult 2 boilles out every 5 minutes 2 keep the taping on the water and the fish will start to have them on the drop as soon as thay hit the water then I put a fuw more in catpult so thear a good spread around the size of a 5 a side football pitch and put a ssg shot on my hook link 10 Inc or longer my hook link is as well iv bin doing that from around 90s and it still works to this day I gone back on to richwoth baits tutti frutti as well for last 5 or 6 years as I fish with them from 90s till around 2008 went on premier baits matrix baits but now gone back on richwoth from around 2018 you don't see many people fishing orange baits no more not 3 to 5 kg of bottom baits freezer baits and the s.core richwoth baits are good as well my catch rate gone up as well its the bait the fish want not nuw pods and tackle thats to catch the angler not the fish spend the money on baits you catch more fish

Great fish Joe. Always makes me chuckle why people don’t carry some form of weigh bar though when fishing for large carp. Watching you guys struggling to get an accurate weight is most amusing. 👍

Just found you. Honestly mate fantastic. Great fish mate. I get a terry hern vibe from you mate cracking. Love the passion hopefully one day ill be catching monster carp like that still yet to catch a 20, 19.16oz mirror 19.4 oz common is me at the moment. Want to go on this lake 😅. Surprised the fishery allow lures imagine fsil hooking a 48lbs carp. Hope it didn't rip it up too much. The lakes i go to that have pike n perch only allow dead baiting for pike to avoid fail hooking the carp .

Back in the 80s on the clone valley chucking the 3 rd rod about we used to call it the “rover” rod , Ritchie is a complete legend, I have many a funny story with Ritchie he inspired so many anglers to really take to another level, he was so far ahead of the game , I’m so happy that he’s back doing what he loves , a lot of the heads in the valley and Staines burnt themselves out drinking and spliffing as some of these low level stock pits were absolutely nails and boredom brought going down the barge the norm and unfortunately a lot of us got addiction problems from it , Hutchy another legend maylin all absolutely amazing anglers , so so pleased Richie is back and massive respect to the people that have been helping Richie. , Richie you are a legend mate !!
