Personally know the guy who set up the original internet for CG. He did it on his own time and paid for most of the equipment out of pocket. And didn’t do it for a video, just as a donation to the town. This is all well and fine to upgrade the current system. But remember he isn’t doing it out of kindness. The video was made, thus money will be made. There’s always a better way when you put more money into a project.

What I'm looking for is the same device with at least 3 wifi modules that will enable us to do load balancing. Public wifi limits the bandwidth capacity per connection. Now imagine if we can connect multiple times to the same Network and combine the speeds limitation it would make this device magical. This device already has a load balancing function between Ethernet and WiFi, they just need to add more WiFi modules to allow us to use multiple repeaters at the same time.

looks nice but need help. I have a proximus bbox with ssid and password (wifi 470MBps bidirectional but 6m limited) in living room with one of its ethernet ports connected to a poe tplink 8-ports switch which drives two U6+ on roof to cover 180m2 appartment with their own Ubiquity ssid and password. A nightmare to switch all the time when i change room. I hesitate between renaming ssid and password same on bbox than U6+ (conflicts... ?) or installing a small device on my TV table in living room and desactivate wifi of bbox. I thought about in-wall but no need 4 ethernet ports (already have 4 ports on bbox close to it) and multioutlet not compatible with 13mm width. or a U6+ just laying on TV table (even done for roof) or exactly same kind of table product than this new EXPRESS one but not sure it behaves like a U6+ booster because it looks like a "master/router"

Love this device… use it on my international Delta Flight for the entire family (4 phones, 2 iPads and 2 laptops) all connected from one login. We got to our hotel, same thing for the entire trip. Best hack ever and we will be using it for our upcoming cruise.

Is Starlink for me?? I live less than 1/2 a mile from the city limits of the Albuquerque, NM suburb of Rio Rancho, NM. Because of this location, the only internet provider available is CenturyLink (landline) and the maximum download speed available is 20 MBPS. I'm lucky if I get 10 mbps on a daily basis!! I've tried Viasat satellite internet and I would always be losing connection and the speed was very, very slow plus not to mention the extra for data!! I'm guessing Hughesnet would be the same. You say it's not for everyone. So, is this where I should consider getting Starlink and is it right for me? Please advise!! Thank you and great video!!

So, this is theowing me for a loop. Ive been studying for my ccna for a while (and am about ready, i think), but in their curriculum, there arent switch ports that have tagged AND untagged traffic; it's either an access port, assigned to ONE vlan (with the exception of VoIP phones, where the port can be config'd as 'switchport access vlan x' AND 'switchport voice vlan y'), OR it's a trunk port carrying whatever vlans you allow/specify (or all). Can anyone help me sort out what im missing here, seeing that these ports here and allowing both tagged and untagged traffic? Thanks.

Would we still need to use the Starlink router, or is there a way to bypass the Starlink router and power the Dish another way? This guy is lying about them having data caps plus I ordered an Ethernet adapter and extra cable that came right away with no problems!

At my last job we had business broadband but only had 90 Mbps at the front desk computer. Daisy chaining was the problem. Once I was allowed to look into it, I found the computer was connected to a gigabit switch though two 10/100 switches and a mile of cable all coiled up under the counter. After I cleaned things up we were getting almost 600 Mbps.

Too much talking is never good. It makes everything more complicated.

So I bought a gen 3 router. I have gen 2 dish and router already. Does this mean I need a gen 3 dish? From what I see, the connections from gen 2 router are different than gen 3 router.

Realistically, how much does the power draw of gen3 would make it a bad purchase for someone that travels a lot in a van as the main internet source? i have a laptop and some small gadgets powered by a 500W 120000Mah battery I charge with solar or at locations i am allowed to plug it in, it usually last me 2-3 days of powering my laptop and gadgets. will I need another one for the starlink gen3 alone?
