I've watched this several times, and I enjoy it(the reason why I've watched over again) but the music is awful! I usually watch it with no volume.

Interesting technique. I heard about it first time from my father.
@user-mo9jp3vz3r9 днів тому
Someone told me years ago about a technique used in Norway. They would submerge (peeled?) pine or spruce logs underwater in cold, fast-flowing streams. The logs were then rotated in and out of the water for many years. This process apparently flushed out most of the nutrients that living organisms eat from the wood. This traditional method was likely used by the ancestors to make the wood last longer, but it definitely needs more research.

What i’m thinking while im watching this? Im 28 and besides the skills that this man has confronting the non existant skills that i have, the strenght that he has is impressive, an old 70+ years man is an animal in front of us, scary, borned rich, no discipline, clean and weak boys, at least myself. What a man.

Imagine him at 28 😅, a bull.

An absolutely brilliant and meticulous video showcasing the level of focus and expertise going into making this game changing war bow. I was fascinated from start to finish. I had the pleasure told meeting the late Robert Hardy who showed me and allowed me to pull some great old longbows. Thanks for the video!

Pops was truly out there splitting stones. Lawd. 😅. Of course the older generations had plenty of children. This would definitely arouse a woman more than a man typing and selling things all day. 😂😂❤❤

The method of chopping at 1:45 looks extremely dangerous. It would be extremely easy for the axe head to hit the log without biting and go straight into the man’s leg.

If your really pressed for time.. do the half lap joint at the end of the log and do under over… literally the quickest way. Run a few dowels through the logs for extra strength…
