A Priceless Gem. Why are the girls so still? I would be doing the Watusi! I saw that one rocking a little.

I was a teenager in the 1980's and my grandfather called "the 60's leftover"..I was already listening to classic rock..and the Zombies are great.

Very, Very Nicely Done(!!!) ... and the chick in the close-up during the keyboard solo looks like she's DYING to tell a lie 🙂.

Colin's voice is velvet. What a sound! One of the best bands of this era. Love all their songs as they are wide open to interpretation. You'll never hear this type of sound again. That's comin' from a 60s baby. 🤭😉 I'm biased.

Great the second it hit radio. Saw 'em at The Greek a couple years ago. They did it great along with their other iconic hits.

Is there another version of this song where the guy playing guitar starts playing some heavy distorion?

What the heck? Rod Argent doesn’t even appear in this, even during the electric piano solo! Was he not there? 😉 😂

Let's hear it for all of these guys and Rod Argent! I was born in 1962 and I used to sing this one to myself. I didn't now all the words then, but I do now.

Well, no one told me about her, the way she lied Well, no one told me about her, how many people cried But it's too late to say you're sorry How would I know, why should I care? Please don't bother tryin' to find her She's not there Well, let me tell you 'bout the way she looked The way she'd act and the colour of her hair Her voice was soft and cool Her eyes were clear and bright But she's not there Well, no one told me about her, what could I do? Well, no one told me about her, though they all knew But it's too late to say you're sorry How would I know, why should I care? Please don't bother tryin' to find her She's not there Well, let me tell you 'bout the way she looked The way she'd act and the colour of her hair Her voice was soft and cool Her eyes were clear and bright But she's not there But it's too late to say you're sorry How would I know, why should I care? Please don't bother tryin' to find her She's not there Well, let me tell you 'bout the way she looked The way she'd act and the colour of her hair Her voice was soft and cool Her eyes were clear and bright But she's not there

An absolute classic, original and better than all the cover versions, including Santana's. This by musicians who could actually play and a singer who could sing without auto tune. Compare this masterpiece with the bling- and sex-obsessed corporate crap we get today from the likes of Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Nicky Minaj - no contest.

Some Surfers fans prefer the more laid back stuff like this, and some prefer the more unhinged stuff. I honestly think styles both are great in their own way
