You could have been done more one that seat. 1-You left 2 noticeable marks on it. 2-That carpet was easy to take it off and wash it appart and wash that floor too. Can you imagine what rests under the carpet. Appart of that great job bravo. Please can you tell me what do you use to take of the rust from chrome bumber and what do you use to polish that bumber?

L-82's were fast enough but nothing compared to today's Corvettes. It depends on what package you bought in how fast a corvette is. I had a 1974 l-82 and I could burn the tires in all four gears. i had the silver racing interior. it looked like the pace car interior but has a tight nit nap carpet instead of that fluffy plush nap. The door panels didn't have carpet on them either. They were just solid silver with a design. All in a burgundy Convertible. As you can tell, I miss that thing. haha!

More then likely after sitting so many year's there are a lot of thing's need to be replaced like dry rott tires. Dried out gaskets and seals and belts. If gas was left in the tank then it might also need replaced. By time you get the car reliable to drive it is no longer all factory original. Like always it comes down to the buyer and how bad they want it. How rare a car is means more to me then miles. Not all of us are looking to buy a car to let it sit another 45 year's. We want to drive them so if you pay on the high side for low mileage then put a bunch of miles on it it just loses value to the next buyer.

What harm would starting it up once have on the value, compared to what thousands of mice already did to it.
