Ant here a suggestion the out side wall area between the bathroom and kitchen window, you could build a wall cabinet to hang upon the wall high enough so the freezer lid can be open. I’m thinking a 4 foot wide and 18 inches deep could pick up a space for Roxann’s pots and party stuff. 😊

Back when you all first were building the pole barn, you had said that the end nearest to the house was going to be a "pantry" for canned goods, pots/pans, etc. What if you cleared that end out and made a small closet specifically for the party stuff you only use occasionally and then also for the canned goods? With insulation, you could keep that space cool/dark, etc. which is always best for canned goods. Then the shelves in the laundry room could be used for crafts, cooking items more regularly used, etc.

Why are you so adverse to electric fences? One wire high and one low is problem solved. Youre going to need them for goats!! No way you can contain goats without electric fencing. Dogs will only touch hot wire once or twice and then the problems solved. So what is your aversion to this solution ??? You cant handle a Harley on dirt roads ? And you need to teach a pillion passenger how to ride?? Damn i missed out on so much back inbrhe day when we all just DID THINGS without all these needs for instructions. Learnt to ride a farm bike, then a roadbike was natural progession. Black berries only last 4-5 days on the vine. So when you see them come on then you need to harvest it as soon as you can. I would dig up some of them and put them against the garden wire so it can climb also do the same with the honeysuckle it is good for hummingbirds and bees. Also honeysuckle is good for making candles. You might also want to tell Llysa so she can get some as well. Love you and all the rest of the framily/

You could build a root cellar out of blocks and concrete. Gary has extra cement from what I understand.

You might try one or those gps boundary fences for ghost. They have the non-shock type that warns the dog with a piercing sound and vibration. Some of them have a 1000 yard boundary.

I had a German shepherd malamute mix that tore through every fence until we bought a couple of chain link dog runs put them together ...then he dug under so we attached cattle panels to the bottom so then he decided to climb. So yeah....we attached cattle panels and corrugated plastic on top. That finally cured it all. Just putting it out there for you...🙃🙂 The plant is honeysuckle and you can gently pull the middle out and suck the honey sweetness of the flower.

My son found a bike cover on Amazon nice orange and black 20.00 dollars.

We had a buried fence with a collar that would shock the dogs when they got close to the perimeter. My long haired Shepard would go right through it because the prongs didn't get to his skin.We cut his hair under his neck where the prongs sat and that worked for us. You don't have cut it to short it is mainly thinning it out. Hope you can figure something out for him. Have a great day.

Roxane needs a girl shed for all her cooking, baking and canning extras. I agree canned foods need to be kept in a cooler, dark place to stay good. It could be a canning shed with water and electric.

I grew up in Southeast Missouri! We had an underground storm cellar to protect us from the weather and to store our canned goods! Our shelter was large enough for built-in shelving and built-in benches for seating! I was terrified of storms and having a storm shelter helped alleviate my fears! Maybe, you could build an underground storm shelter for protection against the bad weather and to store your canned goods! Anthony is one of the most talented carpenters on UKposts!
