For me next season, his task should be top 4 (because we already have good players, so no excuse) while playing attractive football.

The sequence on Valencia was by far the most compelling part of this interview. Could listen to Gary's stories all day long.

It's a nightmare when some tool behind you sings loudly at a gig. Imagine hearing Dyche"s raspy tones for 2 hours, ruining your favourite crooner.

Came to think, Alex Ferguson is most selfish manager ever. Looking back at the players he manage, when was asked to name greatest player he ever coached, he left out weyne, Roy, Paul,.

The culture at utd stops at the dressing room!., the current flock just are not good enough or professional enough., the current manager is not good enough and the current players only think they know what its like to play for utd ., they pick up a big contract and think they have made the big time but they dont realise how many better players that are actually out there and didnt make it playing in a Sunday league or kicking a football around in the garden with there kids whom didnt get the break or family came first or life just happened and these guys go to a game on a Saturday supporting these numpty players knowing they can do better than this shower of sh*te who is more involved in what they are wearing or what is going on in there instagrams or how much they are getting when they do f*ck all on the pitch/its shocking!!

I've never thought about this, but I wonder if OCD, or aspergers is relatively common in TOP level football. That level of drive isn't normal. I obviously don't mean this as an inult, it's just an observation.

Toy Story 1 was immense. Roy is Sid.

The elite mentality of "i need to impress and prove myself to current and established players" no longer exists. Rooney is absolutely right. Players want everything without giving anything even close to what these players gave for their respective clubs, managers, and most importantly, for themselves. Self-respect and elite workmanship mentality.

The best football show in any genre. Loved this episode 👍🏻👍🏻

The Italians for sure and they got hammered for it and the big teams suddenly fell off a cliff. Later, the Spanish National team for sure and they never got caught.

Jose has always been and will always be complaining loser. He damaged many great players. This guy was a World Cup winner, he's pure & kind character, treating him like that is another stupid decision from Mavr.

You'd think Carra would understand how completely contradictory his statement here is. He says "the manager not only has to galvanise the players but also the fans, they need that connection." Then he goes on to talk about Tuchel🤔. Surely as a Liverpool legend he knows full well that connection would NEVER be there since he's managed Chelsea. This is the whole reason no manager can ever really be successful at Liverpool if they've come from a close rival beforehand. He's used goods. Liverpool need someone who's OURS. Someone who's come in from abroad or never coached at a rival. It just doesn't work otherwise. The connection just isn't there.

@craig16697 годин тому
I can relate to Gary. I was in every school team going. All of them relatively successful. I was never the best player or individual, and I knew it. Everyone knew it. I was the engine. I did all the basics well. I worked harder than anyone. I trained more. I focused and listened to those more experienced around me. Some games I was used to just man mark an opponents star player out of the game. And I did. I never scored the winning goal but I'd often make a game saving tackle. All traits the youngsters ignore these days. If most of those with talent, had half the drive and determination us lesser players have, they might actually reach their own potential and retire with no regrets and content with their career. I'm sure Martial Pogba and Lingard have a few regrets no matter how much they earned or the medals they won... they all could have achieved so much more.

I sure wish you guys would enlighten me as to why they sell their biggest players like Beckman then immediately their wins do downhill. I'm surprised the Keane lasted as long as he did.

38:57 For all his comedic timing, Keane really missed a beat here. Wright saying mistakes being made on scale now where something has to be said, and Keane there beside him with 13 unjustly awarded red cards against him.
