Cool! I'm the designer of BMO dock stand (selled by Made In urbana and other ^^') I really like your version, especially the addition of a compartment to store the cartridges, great job!

How do you do what you did in gimp? Is there a nane for it.
@nikkolaus18 днів тому
I disagree with this method of testing. Each filament in the real-world would be individually used and calibrated for it's required flow dynamic, flow rate, nozzle temperature, bed temperature, and speed. Just because they're all PLA doesn't mean you should just throw them all into a mixed bag and print them all the same. That's not how someone, who is using their 3D printer effectively, would print with it - so the test is void.

I'm not the biggest fan of how the game cards sit in there, you could have them sit flat and flush or you could make it a bit thicker and hollow to add a battery pack. The it would be just a bigger GBA SP.

Is there any way to sell one for the OLED model? The screen size is slightly wider. I'd buy instantly if it's possible.
@CASSDesignsМісяць тому
It could be made but I don’t have an OLED to test it with, maybe I’ll look into it and reply to you if I try making one work with that model

that would look pretty cool - thanks for the idea!

This is crazy cool. I have been wanting to get a bamboo printer but I'm always hesitant on switching.
@CASSDesignsМісяць тому
I had an ender 3 since 2018 and then bought an IDEX dual extruder printer, but the bambu labs A1 has been the only one I've used since I bought it a few months ago. There's been a recall due to a heatbed issue but once it becomes available again (I think in May) definitely look into it! It's very worth the ecosystem switch, but they're much more closed source than other printer companies

Hola buenas noches. Tienes vifeos donde cortas y grabas acrílico?

¡ey! Yo no, pero cortó el acrílico negro muy fácilmente. El acrílico transparente es más desafiante para un grabador de baja potencia como este. Lo siento si esto es un poco inexacto, estoy usando un traductor.

hi, Top Vid, but I was just wondering (Stupid question on the way)......Can the Pi-3 support touchscreen? I have an old 14" touchscreen from a broken Laptop. Could I make one out of that? Sorry, please excuse my lack of intelligence. I couldn't engineer and build a spacecraft, nevermind this!
@CASSDesignsМісяць тому
Not a stupid question! Yeah it can, I used a pi 3 before on an old project. You might be able to make that screen work with a raspberry pi, but you’d have to get it to be wired to the raspberry pi correctly with HDMI and then a USB for the touch input. It would be pretty challenging

Ive bought a bundle from creality. Its the black and white one. Idk if I got a bad one but since using the black one I've been getting stringing issues and clogs and makes some pops sounds and been making my ender 3 pro extruder skip notoriously bad. So idk if I just got a lemon one or if its been overly hydrated from the unusual weather changes in socal 😅

@GRANITEMONUMENT3 місяці тому
Wait, so we don’t even have the heart to make someone 4th?? 😂, good, job on the comparison, I’m sure it took some time.. try temp towers because that ender filament might have been absolutely flawless at 210 degrees, and the pla+ may have wanted a completely different temperature., at a minimum, run the manufactures recommended settings, and buy a heat gun to confirm your machine is accurate, although the temp tower is calibrated to your machine automatically, and no need for temperature gun, or any means of calibrating the gun itself…
@GRANITEMONUMENT3 місяці тому
I’d guess if someone wanted to invest the amount of time to compare 4 brands, the first step would be to get your printer dialed TF in..
@johnlocke34813 місяці тому
So all you are showing is, if you want to print a white pla and it has to be printed at 205 degrees, and you only have these 4 options, here’s the best choice
@Stolius3 місяці тому
can i use solder to do this?
@CASSDesigns3 місяці тому
no you are just using the soldering iron to heat up the threaded insert so it can melt the plastic as it's being pressed into it. No solder needed, just a "heat-set" threaded insert and a soldering iron

Cardboard spools are a NO-GO for me if using AMS or running my filament from a dryer directly to the printer. The relative humidity reading is through the roof on my dryer with cardboard spools. I haven't used many brands but I find Esun to be great. I will be trying Hatchbox in the immediate future because I have plastic spools.
