Want to track my cat in the house. Instead of attaching one of these to the cat, attach it to the door frame of every door in the house. It needs to support RFID. The cat would carry an RFID tag on its collar and when it enters a room, the LORA tracker on the door frame picks up the RFID tag info and transmits it over WiFi to a computer, web server or mobile device. While it won't tell you where in the room the cat is located, you can at least known which room the cat is located in.

Hello! I am designing a PCB very similar to the one you have designed in your GPS tracker project. I would like to know how you have designed the power circuit. How do you stabilize the voltage at 3.3v when the battery voltage drops below that value? And what voltage does it power the Ai-Thinker A7? Thank you so much!

PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE IF YOU ARE READING THIS..... Moritz i.e makermoekoe I am a student and I want to build the three wheeled version myself but to be honest the video is great but the building tutorial is not the best..... also there is no link for the gerber file for ordering the pcb from pcbway and no list of used electronic components either..... and also the code is not given either.... thus this makes it impossible for someone like me to recreate your project...... You have no Idea how much it will help me if you made a new video on how to properly make the three wheeled robot-car with all the necessary links, components list , code and a perfect tutorial...... please like this comment so it goes on top and hopefully he reads it.......

That chip antenna design seems crazy to me. As a relatively new hobbyist Ive been told over and over that rf is difficult and that you absolutely needed a pi filter and to play with the values. How did you get this to work? Have I been mislead? Does this get good wifi reception without high effort simulation or vna testing?

I propose exploring the concept of utilizing a laser cutter for soldering components placed in solder paste on PCBs. This could potentially revolutionize traditional soldering methods by leveraging the precision and control offered by laser technology. Experimenting with this idea could open up new possibilities for more efficient and precise PCB assembly processes.

13:00 that was insane for me, as a software eng. I just think in how much time a should spand to understand all the protocols a mix the software and everything, the hardware integration and specifications. not just that but the maket as well, to find vendors and all the stuff.. dude, you are amazing, congratulations, I am proud of you just like a mother! 😄

As awesome as I think this project is, I sincerely hope you don't release project files for distribution. There are a lot of bad actors out there and this has the potential to be seriously misused. I'm not discouraging you or other tinkerers from exploring the project, I just advise keeping the project technical and not doing something brash like selling the project assembled and working online for anyone to use as they see fit

wouldn't be better for it to have some sort of timer to put it out of sleep mode every 5s and just awake to send the position to a server? this way the battery would last wayyyyyyyyyy longer

This robot is amazing. I am currently doing my last semester project - morphing robot but as I am mechanical engineer I dont have much idea how to write a code for controlling the robot (which i intent to learn) . Is it possible that you can provide me with some resources so that I can simulate in matlab / ROS with velocity and acceleration vectors.

Nice project, how long does the battery last if one put in in a car and it gets stolen? I mean how long can i see where the car is? Lets say they hide it in a steel freight container for 24hours after the initial theft and if they take it out after that, is the batteries good and its tracking still? Everything look very good but you might need to work a bit on you hand soldering skills. Overall, very good and interesting.

use some flux (soldering paste) before doing manual soldering to get a clean solder joint.
