I toiled over this question many a years and made countless maps in my younger years. There is certainly a way to make better borders... but no one solution will fit all the different regional people group's needs and desires. Didn’t start the video yet. But yes from all my research before this, I believe the Ottoman Empires fall and participation in world wars is what caused the instability we see today.
