Just changed out my ac resistor on my 2015 Kia Sorento. Great video. Step-by-step . Saved me $220 that the local shop wanted to charge me. Thanks for the video. 🤑🤑🤑

I had a similar problem, the pump I bought did not come with a new harness, and the plug fit the new pump, but it would not fully engage until it clicked in, so the contacts were not engaging. There was something defective about the way the top portion of the new pump was made, so I just re-used the top part of the old pump and it worked fine.

well, it doesn't have to be assembly lube, just a lubricant to help the o-ring insert with ease without tearing it

@RodriguezRepairs
@RodriguezRepairs 12 днів тому
If your pump has an extra harness with it then yes, it will need to be replaced. This was an update made so the positive and negative terminals of the fuel pump motor won't be together causing heat and burning up the terminal connector

I have a 2016 KIA Sorento and the blower does not blow, but I had it checked and it works. It didn't work at any speed. The relay and fuse were tested and are fine. What would be the main problem of all this problem? I forgot to say that it doesn't work on high speed.
@RodriguezRepairs

Why did you not bleed the brakes? Genuine question. There is a bleeder valve so im assuming you should bleed them prior to reinstalling the electronic parking brake. No?
@RodriguezRepairs
@RodriguezRepairs 20 днів тому
No, the parking brake is fully "electronic" the hydraulic system does not get touched or is involved is changing the brakes. The only time you would bleeding the brakes is when replacing the calipers, but in this video, we removed the "electronic" part of the caliper. The Hydraulic line was untouched.

There is no such thing as a pullup or a pulldown resistor. The resistor has an ohm value. Where the resistor is placed in the circuit determines the name of the circuit. ukposts.info/have/v-deo/oHiEhoKdj3h_mKc.htmlsi=F5hCbRL6m4g43CKU

If this goes unfixed for a couple days, can it produce Code: P0505?
@RodriguezRepairs
@RodriguezRepairs 29 днів тому
yes it could cause a idle code, like idle too high, or idle out of range, or erratic idle. Now those codes can also be caused by other issues too, its no always caused by not doing the idle relearn

Well you would need to hose the coolant that spilled out with water on a catch pan. To avoid this, you can just unscrew the plastic Bolt under the radiator to drain the coolant FIRST which is something i did not do on this video

@RodriguezRepairs
@RodriguezRepairs Місяць тому
If you are going to do the rear brake service by using a scan tool, then you would put the brakes in "maintenance mode" and the scan tool would retract the caliper piston via the actuator. This is the manual way of doing them and it works.
