Just changed out my ac resistor on my 2015 Kia Sorento. Great video. Step-by-step . Saved me $220 that the local shop wanted to charge me. Thanks for the video. 🤑🤑🤑

I had a similar problem, the pump I bought did not come with a new harness, and the plug fit the new pump, but it would not fully engage until it clicked in, so the contacts were not engaging. There was something defective about the way the top portion of the new pump was made, so I just re-used the top part of the old pump and it worked fine.

what's assembly lube?
@RodriguezRepairs12 днів тому
well, it doesn't have to be assembly lube, just a lubricant to help the o-ring insert with ease without tearing it
@BIG_HEMII15 днів тому
So do I have to use the new plug on my 2011 rt
@RodriguezRepairs12 днів тому
If your pump has an extra harness with it then yes, it will need to be replaced. This was an update made so the positive and negative terminals of the fuel pump motor won't be together causing heat and burning up the terminal connector
@Mike-jj8nq16 днів тому
How does the water get in the back doors?
@RodriguezRepairs12 днів тому
There is a drain like the one in the video, but in the rear. If you watch my other video on a Buick Lacrosse rear drain repair, it will be a similar process!
@HergenDergen1417 днів тому
For future viewers, you’ll need a 10mm deep socket for the engine cover.

I have a 2016 KIA Sorento and the blower does not blow, but I had it checked and it works. It didn't work at any speed. The relay and fuse were tested and are fine. What would be the main problem of all this problem? I forgot to say that it doesn't work on high speed.
@RodriguezRepairs12 днів тому
So it works on every speed but HIGH speed?

Why did you not bleed the brakes? Genuine question. There is a bleeder valve so im assuming you should bleed them prior to reinstalling the electronic parking brake. No?
@RodriguezRepairs20 днів тому
No, the parking brake is fully "electronic" the hydraulic system does not get touched or is involved is changing the brakes. The only time you would bleeding the brakes is when replacing the calipers, but in this video, we removed the "electronic" part of the caliper. The Hydraulic line was untouched.

Where did you get the pigtail ?
@danieljurgill168129 днів тому
There is no such thing as a pullup or a pulldown resistor. The resistor has an ohm value. Where the resistor is placed in the circuit determines the name of the circuit. ukposts.info/have/v-deo/oHiEhoKdj3h_mKc.htmlsi=F5hCbRL6m4g43CKU

If this goes unfixed for a couple days, can it produce Code: P0505?
@RodriguezRepairs29 днів тому
yes it could cause a idle code, like idle too high, or idle out of range, or erratic idle. Now those codes can also be caused by other issues too, its no always caused by not doing the idle relearn

Thanks for this vid, helped me a lot! Was a bit annoying to get some of those plugs lose, apart from that it was fine. And to those who don't have a swivel socket, a little wrench (preferably ring wrench) works too for those annoying ignition coil bolts! It's a bit tricky but it works.

It's okay for all that coolant to be everywhere ?
@RodriguezRepairsМісяць тому
Well you would need to hose the coolant that spilled out with water on a catch pan. To avoid this, you can just unscrew the plastic Bolt under the radiator to drain the coolant FIRST which is something i did not do on this video
@joeybez5464Місяць тому
can you start the videon how you opened it while having that problem?

why not draining the rad at the bottom so you don't splash all connectors?
@RodriguezRepairsМісяць тому

@darekjonik8699Місяць тому
I think u have to also put on service mode changing the rear breaks
@RodriguezRepairsМісяць тому
If you are going to do the rear brake service by using a scan tool, then you would put the brakes in "maintenance mode" and the scan tool would retract the caliper piston via the actuator. This is the manual way of doing them and it works.
