Triple Frontier was better than I thought it was going to be. OMG yes! The Ritual was phenomenal!!! Buster Scruggs was so freaking great! I didn't like one of the stories, but yeah, it's top tier.

I have special affection for The Highwaymen. I spent 3 days in a hospital in Mexico with ecoli. I barely speak Spanish and was on my own most of the time and I spent my whole time watching Netflix and The Highwaymen was a highlight.

Polar and Triple Frontier are the two I watched twice. Both great movies imo. Going to watch The Perfection and The Night Comes for us.

The ritual is absolutely re-watchable. I watched it alone and then a year later I watched it with my partner who had never seen it. I just couldn't wait to see his face as a certain scene played out. He was quite vocal. 😂😂😂

Totally agree on the movies I've seen, stoked to try out the few I haven't. I don't always agree but you've been pretty consistent for my tastes. Good job, mate. Keep 'em coming! Added note: It would be helpful if you made some note which movies are in non-English languages. It's not that I don't watch subbed/dubbed movies, but I really need to be in the mood. They just take a little more effort to watch and sometimes it bums me out when I get super relaxed and ready to veg out to a new movie only to find out I need to exert extra mental energy reading subs. And a low quality dub just ruins everything. Just a quick mention would do.

the night come for us was directed and scripted by Indonesian master of horror movies, Joko Anwar, which I recommend to watch for other his masterpieces such Satan's Slave 1 and 2, the current film Siksa Kubur (Grave Torture/Torment) 👍 there many more but in Netflix you may find accessible for those ones. Enjoy!

The setup of The Platform reminds me a lot of Denis Villeneuve's short film, Next Floor (2008).

I finally watched Gerald's Game because of this, and I DID NOT regret it! 9/10, would rewatch if I were the type to ever rewatch anything 😅

On the dark side of the moon is a very good flick also.

I can't agree more about The Night Comes For Us. Iko Uwais & Joe Taslim are superb in this raw relentless, bloody & brutal thrill ride. The fight scene choreography and cinematography are 1st rate and all based around a really good story. Indonesian cinema at it's best - up there with The Raid; Raid 2 & Headshot

This is a really fantastic list of flicks, DVD! And, i have to say that Polar is my go-to rewatch. I think I watch it at least 4-5 times a year since it released. I will be first in line for the sequel if it does ever get made and released. And, of course, Mads is phenomenal in anything he does. And, to be honest, this was my first real intorduction to Vanessa Hudgens and I thought she really held her own next to the man, himself. 🙂

The Harder They Fall was the most Tarantino film that he never wrote or directed. Also, The Night Comes for Us is amazing, and All Quiet on the Western Front should absolutely be watched on UHD if you have the option and a capable home theater setup. The audio is just so much better that way. The Perfection was nuts too. I actually tricked my aunt (who doesn't like horror films now even though she's the one who gave me my horror film education in the '80s) into watching that via recommendation since she used to be a violinist. She actually really enjoyed it, despite being creeped out with some scenes. The Killer was rather slow, but I really enjoyed it. Not sure how rewatchable it is though. edit: All Quiet on the Western Front doesn't feel like a "made for TV" film, because it wasn't... Just because something says "Netflix original" that absolutely does not mean it was a film or TV series produced by Netflix. Not sure how you might have come to that conclusion. Many of the films on this list had nothing to do with Netflix other than streaming distribution. All "Netflix original" truly means is that it's content that will most likely only ever be streamed on Netflix, and Netflix alone. If they don't have exclusivity in perpetuity, they do for a long while. This is very much how "console exclusives" work with third-party developers on the game consoles.

When he suggests a movie to watch that you haven’t seen, 99 times out of 100 he’s correct. You should watch it . Great work sir . Extraction is a great movie. It really surpriced me. Seen it tree times.

To be honest I like the second Extraction more than the first! The prison break one-shot scene with the helicopters on the train is INCREDIBLE! The only scenes I loved as much was from John Wick 4, the eagle eye view fight in the apartment and the drug raid from True Detective Season 1. EDIT: Kostas Gavras is my uncle and Romain (his son, who directed Athena) is my (dah) second cousin, Im happy you included the movie on your list!

The Night Comes For Us is brilliant, it's probably from the same factory that Raid movies came from, if I'm not mistaken, but boy those folks can do an action flicks like no others! Obviously, many of the movies on this list are thoroughly enjoyable and re-watchable as the man says.

The Harder They Fall and Polar are both awesome movies, thoroughly rewatchable. The Platform surprised the hell out of me; I started watching out of boredom but really got hooked. Extraction was damned good, too.

The package was a good comedy that I enjoyed, it reminded me of those raunchy 90s movies but what made it good was it had heart. For me raunchy movies always work when they have heart

My all time off top of head lesser known favs to rewatch are Boogie Woogie; A Bigger Splash; Trainwreck; Three Billboards; Burn After Reading; Locke Series: Rome ; Vikings; Fleabag writer of wonderful Killing Eve; Mindhunters; Deutschland '83, 86, and 89 (brilliant insights exciting); Dracula (2018);

Spectral was one of the first I watched and really cool and unexpected.
