The interception at the end is one of the most gut punching feelings I've ever had as a sports fan and as an Ohio state fan. That play was brutal. Hell of a game though. I just want to beat Clemson once in my lifetime.

I look back an realize they did everything to make this game go in clemsons favor. The targeting call change the momentum of the game. Then the fumble 6 they called back makes you wonder coming from an Arkansas fan.

Really would've loved to see an LSU vs OSU game in this season. But, as a Clemson fan, I really didn't want to lose this.

Even after all the bad calls, OSU still had their chance to win, but the receiver aborted the route that lead to the interception. That was the dagger. I agree there were crucial calls that were poorly called that went against OSU (targeting, fumble both were terrible calls), but at the end of the day they still had their chance at the end. Sucks to see it end that way. Good game though.

I'm a old Clemson grad. I know this was two seasons ago, but IMO Ohio St. would have matched up better against LSU than my Tigers did. Ohio St. FINALLY beat us last season, then was destroyed by Bama. Congrats on the victory over Clemson, and Bama would have beat Clemson worse than they did the Buckeyes.

Well being a buckeye fan, we should have easily won this game. Instead of kicking field goals, should have scored touchdowns. Cant really blame the officials except the fumble returned for a touchdown that was called back. Clemson came back like i thought they would. Great game though by the buckeyes. We will see what happens this upcoming season. Hopefully we make the playoffs and play Clemson again.

I'm an LSU fan and rewatching this game that was a terrible targeting call against Ohio st. Ohio st. Also that was a fumble. He caught the ball made a football play then fumbled. Ohio st. Had this one in the bag and let it slip away. I wanted to see LSU skull drag Joe's old team but we got clemson instead.

As an Ohio State fan, the Fumble shouldnt have been called an incomplete pass but we blew a 16-0 lead. Instead of scoring touchdowns we kicked field goals and we could not perform in the 4th. We were screwed but that's not the reason we lost. We just blew it.

Just happened to be rewatching old highlights, forgot a lot of the details, so not anticipating specific "bad calls", but knew people thought there were some. Dobbins TD overturn was correct. Targeting was correct, though I hate the ejection rule period, but it was applied by the book correctly. Scoop n score was questionable but live looked incomplete. Slow mo can make things look like a catch that aren't and the incomplete is consistent with other incomplete "didn't complete the process of the catch" stuff recently. Refs were not that bad at least on this highlight reel. Plus OSU has a national title due to a bad ref call against Miami so don't be complaining too much.

Bad calls or not. The refs didn't blow this game for OSU. They were up 16-0, and should have been more. They had Clemson down and couldn't finish them off. Clemson is obviously a fantastic team, but OSU had their chances and blew it.

When this game happened, I predicted that if Fields threw 2 INTs Ohio State would lose and guess what happened? it did. Mainly because everything would have to go wrong for them for that to happen (Fields threw more interceptions that night than in the whole rest of the season)

This is probably the worst refereed game ever. Multiple on multiple calls incorrect with slow motion cameras

man, looking back on this, the refs did EVERYTHING they could to keep clemson in the game😭

Key mistakes were targeting, roughing kicker, and WR breaking route. The non fumble was a bad call.

There is a difference between roughing the kicker and running the kicker this was obviously running which there would be no penalty. Plus the fumble return for a touchdown should’ve stayed as a touchdown because he took 4 steps with the ball in his possession. The ball wasn’t being juggled around he caught the football. Overall Ohio State is the better team there is just a few key moments where Trevor Lawrence kept Clemson in the game.

I honestly hate to keep talking about it..... but Ohio State to me was obviously the better the team. Almost much better. Clemsons experience and discipline really helped them win this game.
