The one weird thing at 28:20 is that, in GTA IV that pick-up truck didn't exist. It was only accessible through the Lost and Damned story expansion. That means Rockstar had to either enable it through some form of trainer/debug console in GTA IV or spawned it in GTA TLAD and then switched the character model to Niko for some reason, strange 🤔

Fun fact: ghost dog is actually also in the opening cinematic on the beach when Michael is leaving his psychiatrist's office. It runs by a sunbather and kicks sand onto her, causing her to sit up and stare at the dog.

For the Ghost dog part the location of the family death looks the same as when you first meet Dom which is weird. Maybe the spirit of the dogs wants to help people because it wasn't able to help its owners. Seems like he can't cross over

The GPS tracker Calibration Origin is the point that it takes you if there’s ever an issue with your current coordinates. It is basically the fail safe spawn point where if the game gets confused it’ll put you there. Hope that helps

To get a better count of things I recommend counting under the rules: Building = People can both go into it and get shelter Structure = Manmade object/asset

The "Origin"" point at 27:40 could be meant practical by the devs. Could be my imagination but i think thats the spot where my minimap always shows me (my own map icon) when i join a session inside of the kosatka . Sometimes the same happens when i quickly enter / exit an interrior (mostly while prepping perico)

It's a shame this series has to come to an end. It was a fun ride and I loved every minute of it. I learned about so many things that I didn't even know existed in this game. It's amazing that we're still learning more and more unknown secrets about this game even after almost a decade of it being out.

After level 120, you gain more max health. The health regeneration gain increases as well because it’s regenerating more raw health, but the percentage is still the same, hence why it doesn’t seem like it’s regenerating faster

Also with Michael's last name, in the mission where Jimmy gets Michael high steals the car, the guy at the restaurant calls Michael "Mr. De Santo"

the interiors being under the map thing is really obvious when you fail a mission while in an interior, the respawn animation will just go to a random part of the map and zoom into the ground. Sometimes I don't get why they don't just put the interior under the place it's supposed to be cause it's really strange to see the game zoom into a random part of Sandy Shores and then suddenly you're in a nightclub in Los Santos

I also believe that it is the spot where you spawn at whilst performing the “guns in passive” glitch. It is basically the default spawning point in GTAO. Anyways, neat video.

10:17 Actually, this mystery got solved from many years, the dog is a reference to "Vincent" a dog from the TV show "LOST" (an incredible series) who seems to spawn and disappear along the show and who alerts principal caracters from dangers.

17:55 this might be what we call a "logic cube" at my workplace. If a programmer needs to write and attach code to literally anything to work, they'll sometimes just make a physical cube game object to get the job done. Why? Code by itself is hard to implement via jamming it into an engine. If you attach it to an entity, then it just works off of said entity's existence, and cubes are easier to physically track vs sticking it in an empty game object, followed by sifting through a mile long hierarchy if you need to make changes to it later. LOL 24:57, same deal. Whoever was working on the cinematic camera that day decided the camera is attached to a truck instead of being an empty game object like they usually are. I guess they had issues getting the framing right and needed an object as reference and said "Screw it, semi truck it is."

30:12 I think it is because of the kosatka mission on the main heist where you steal a device that makes kosatka invicible on radar. They either had to remove the setup or remove the scope out so they chose removing the scope out mission

This would make sense considering the development of GTAV started during the Breaking Bad TV show. 27:46 i work with GPS navigation, and the only thing that kind of makes sense here is taking about moving your reference point. All GPS coordinates are based on an exact reference point. In modern usage, latitude and longitude coordinates are almost always in relation to something called the WGS84 ellipsoid. The ellipsoid is a slightly squished sphere (often called an oblate spheroid) with its center located at the center of mass of the real earth. The WGS84 datum is basically a way to exactly define lat and lon that everyone can agree on. It has an inverse flattening of about 300 and an equatorial radius of about 6378 km (those are the two numbers you need to define an oblate spheroid). If you ever wondered how people decided where longitude starts and stops, its completely arbitrary and set to be an exact distance away from the Greenwich Observatory. You can also use the WGS84 ellipsoid to determine altitude, but GPS almost always uses something called a geoid that is defined in EGM96. When people say "i am at _____ feet above sea level" they are talking about their altitude using EGM96. If you want to talk about your altitude referencing the much easier to use WGS84 ellipsoid, you say "i am at _____ feet above the ellipsoid (HAE)" All that said, the reference point (or the origin) for the latitude, longitude, and altitude that we all use is arbitrary and can be moved. It can often be desirable to "move" the reference point around if you are doing some navigational math and want to avoid something like dividing by zero. You could also just use a different origin point for navigation, like the center of the sun for flying around the solar system. With all that in mind, you could also give someone a location (or set of waypoints) that are relative to a different origin. In other words, you would do some math to move the WGS84 references around, then you would look at where your coordinates now point.

The "This does not exist" block might just be there from developements so you can copy it quickly if a developer has to implement a Mechanic with a Texture that was not designed by the designer-team yet. It's very common in other games as well that developers used such "standard" or ridicilous blocks to use as "fill material"

One little extra note to add: female characters can Have an advantage in a very few PvE situations. They can wear High heels and that makes the character model taller. This can be positive when aiming from out of a few containers against NPC's. It was pretty effective at that Survival in stab City when that container was inside the fighting Area. The female character could thus kill the enemies easier than the male characters.

the unfinished heist has been scrapped into the auto shop contract but without the whole seized car thing, its pretty much the 5 same banks on the map and they just got trackers/alarms you can disable before robbing each one or you get cops (on the last one cops start chasing you anyway)

I wonder if that health regeneration thing is the regen scaling with your HP. Pretty sure you get more HP until level 100 and so therefore the regen would appear slower if the rate wasn’t also increasing. Assuming the following factors: * Solo lobby * Adding mods to a car (I've timed myself speed doing this, 9 seconds is my fastest, I average around ~13 seconds) * Drop off location spawn * I/E garage location * The car you picked * Your driving skills * (Optional) How long it takes you to kill the thugs that show up It could take you anywhere from 3 minutes on the low end to 8 minutes at max to sell a car... Factoring in the sale time I provided, it would take you 16 to 20 days (Rounded up) total to sell 1,000 cars solo. Adding more players is a whole other level of math and consideration that frankly I wouldn't be able to do given my math skills are rudimentary.

Idk if this is something you covered but using a controller and a 'MANUAL' car on a hill; slightly press the throttle and the car will roll back down the hill, pressing it more will give you actual frontal movement simulating using a clutch on hill starts. Doesn't work on electric vehicles so this is definitely a really cool minute detail

27:55 This bug/feature (unsure if its intentional) is also present when shoplifting from convenience stores in Online. If you buy 9 Pisswassers and shoplift the last one, you actually end up having 11 for some reason. This probably also works for other things like Smokes and all the Snacks, where you buy all of them except for the last one you need to max out on them, and then shoplift the last one to get an extra one. This extra item sadly does not transfer between sessions however, and most likely missions too, resetting back to what it 'should' be when you encounter a loading screen. 29:38 I don't know if I'm just remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure I remember scoping out the island by using the submarine. Maybe I could be confusing it with one of the approach options for the heist, but I don't remember flying a plane every time I tried this heist myself
