After seeing “the way of water,” I realized that the segment here in the ocean uses the same animals that are in the movie! It’s cool that the imagineers seem to have been working with the creative team from the films to incorporate stuff that hadn’t been released yet.

I remember tearing up after going on this, now THAT, was true magic. Give the creators of this ride a RAISE

The best part about this ride was the immersion. You really sit on this motorcycle-like contraption that moves forward and upwards to simulate the bird movement. You can even feel the animal breath in and out! If this wasnt enough already, they even decided to make the movie 4-D, meaning you can feel sprays of water hit your face when you fly through the ocean splashes. The part that really surprised me was when me and my girlfriend noticed they added specific scents to correspond to wherever you were in the movie/ride.

I cannot explain it well but everyday life feels "less real" the moment this ride ends and you're back in Disney World. It must be the adrenaline rush during the flight! It's so immersive!

When you come out of the bioluminescent cave and the heavenly music starts playing and you are just soaring through the air it is just downright mesmerizing. I was actually tearing up.

I cry happy tears every time I ride this I don’t even know how to explain it. It’s like you’re literally in a different world. You’ll never understand unless you ride it!

It feels so good to unanimously see so many people who share the passionate love of this this movie and world together. This ride was amazing and my FAVORITE Disney experience while at *any* of the Disney parks.

This ride is like seeing Earth untouched by mankind

This attraction is my favorite at any Disney park, it makes you feel like you’re actually flying through Pandora!! I can’t wait to see what Disney does with Galaxy’s Edge!!

I went on this ride last week, and I know it’s technically just a motion simulator, but I cannot stop thinking about it. It was such a beautiful experience.

I have been on this ride 5 or 6 times now. I went on it the day after opening day. It made me cry then and it still makes me cry. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and it's just absolutely breathtaking and exhilarating.

Woah! This video is from 4 years ago, but we can already see the Tulkuns and the Ilu's from Avatar 2. That's amazing.

I remember waiting in line for 2 hours just to get on this but it was worth it! You could feel the water and actually smell the forest and the dirt! I wish pandora was real so bad it would be so amazing to fly through this on the back of a banshee and see all those beautiful creatures

I SOBBED never having even seen the movie. It was beyond exhilarating 🥰. It was soo beautiful. I think that’s why I sobbed bc it felt soooo real. Saw the movie on our flight home. I was missing out😭We’ve been back since the first time and still chokes me up😭

It’s crazy that 4 years ago they had the water tribes there before most of us even knew that was going to be the next movie

As a grown ass man I cried like a kid thanks to joy and bliss I felt in this ride. You feel every gust of wind, every smell, coldness of the sea and all that... It was a majestic experience

This entire franchise emits such an overwhelming reaction from this breath taking world that I just feel compelled to start crying/ tearing up. What’s even crazier is that so many people react the SAME way.

I have not been on this ride but it makes me want to cry just watching it. Ive always been so drawn to riding an ikran since ive seen the movie that when i got older i bought a motorcycle. I ride a sport bike motorcycle through the mnts in real life and thats the closest ill ever get to riding an ikran. in the words of sully "i was born to do this"

I wish I could go back and ride this again for the first time. It's my favorite ride, and I still love riding it, but nothing will ever top that very first ride. Now I find myself watching the faces of others on the ride, especially during that very last, dramatic dip at the end. So much fun!!!

Came back here because James Cameron mentioned that the creatures in Avatar: Way of Water were in this ride and they are!!! I also read somewhere that with the upcoming avatar sequels, they’ll modify this ride accordingly which is even cooler lol

This ride blew every ride I've ever been on out of the water. The details and the feeling and the immersion was unlike anything I have ever experienced and it made me smile in wonder the entire time to the point where I almost shed a year of happiness and excitement. The wait time is absolutely worth it cause no ride I've ever been on made me feel the way this did

Star Wars rides better step up cause this ride set the bar really high.

My 87 year old father enjoyed this ride too! We rode it after waiting in line for 2 hours. I cannot express the joy that we felt as we flew through Pandora. It was the best ride ever!

This is my All Time Favorite Ride at Disney World. Breathtaking!!! PS - anyone notice when on the ride that when your in the bioluminescent cave the picture is fuzzy. Even in this video the whole experience is pretty clear except that part.

i remember going on this ride back in 2019, it was breath taking, you could smell and feel what was going on around you, and the saddle/seat you were sitting in would rock and tilt, you could feel the extreme wind on your cheeks. it was awesome. if you ever go to animal kingdom this is a must, its a once in a lifetime experience.

This ride is unforgettable, I still think about it up to this day (I went 6 years ago). We queued up for over two hours and every minute was wroth waiting. The ride was actually incredible and I will never ever forget it. The next day we had to go on it again, so we bought a fast pass.

This ride was insanely beautiful and realistic. It’s got all of the best elements of Soarin but it’s so much better! The water spray and the breeze, along with the smell of nature and the feeling of the banchee breath beneath you. This ride is absolutely brilliant!!!

Not only is this ride super cool, but the queue is really cool too! There’s different caves, and there’s parts of it that have the plants and one part of the line is a lab. It’s super cool

yall. if you think you might be too scared to go on this ride, DONT BE. if you dont go on it, youre missing an absolutely once in a lifetime experience. you can feel the banshee underneath you, smell the sea, and of course, see the beautiful terrain of Pandora. its nothing like ive ever experienced before. also if you have the chance, i definitely recommend going twice or more times. the first time i went, i was very tense because i didnt know what was coming next. we went a second time, and i was able to relax and take in the beauty of the fantasy world around me. 1000000000/10 recommend GO ON IT

Today, I had an incredible experience on this ride and I am still amazed at the remarkable feat of mankind in creating something so spectacular.

My only regret is not riding this sooner. Went on it for the first time the other day and absolutely blown away. Best theme park attraction I've ever been on, hands down.

This was by far my favorite ride. It literally feels like your in Pandora. You feel the sprays of water hit your face as you glide through the ocean. You feel the Ikran breathing right beneath your lap. You feel the rushes of air fly through your hair. The lines were super long though. It’s 100% worth the wait

I’d give anything to go on this ride again. At first I was scared, because of the pre-ride scanning part, and the Doctor Who portal transport thing ( I’m scared of fast rides. Even though I knew I wasn’t going anywhere, it still felt that way. ) but once I got a view of the world, it just turned everything around. Fear turned into excitement, joy, happiness, etc. I shrieked a few times, but those turned into that of excitement. I had the urge to take the glasses off at the start, but the view made me change my mind. Even though I felt similarities of being in a coaster cart, I didn’t feel as afraid anymore ( Still not doing roller coasters, lol. ) I was so upset when the flight ended. I never wanted to leave my seat. I felt like I was flying! Y’all have to ride this if you haven’t tried it!!

I wish our planet had some of the most beautiful breathtaking environments in the whole wide world like the cave, forests, and have amazing scents.

I remember riding this on opening day. Waited like 1 hour to get into Pandora. Then another 5 hours to get on the ride. At the end it was all worth it! The raw experience of everyone riding it for the first time was breathtaking. Especially after waiting that long! The feeling was so unreal. I've never felt like that with anything at Disney before lol.

Okay so I've been a Disney Vacation Club member for 20 years and we've been going for 25 years. I've been on every single ride countless times and when this ride first came out I could not get a FastPass for the life of me. I even had extra time to try to book the fast passes because I was staying in one of our Disney Resorts. It was when it was most popular not long after it opened. I accepted the fact that I wouldn't be able to go on it on that specific trip. was pretty bummed though. We happened to be by the ride just messing around looking at the scenery and we decided to take a group selfie picture in front of it. I started walking off and then my husband and my daughter were a little behind. I thought they were behind me but when I turned around they were quite a ways away talking to some woman. Unbeknownst to me at the time she told them that she had passes for flight of Passage but she couldn't use them because she had reservations at a restaurant in another Park and asked us if we would like to use them. I couldn't believe it! I actually was going to get on the ride and not even have to wait all the hours that people were waiting! I think that us stopping and taking a picture had her realize we had three in our party and that's how many passes she had. Otherwise I don't think she would have even asked us. I've been on the ride about seven times since then and it never gets old. The first thing I said when I got off was I don't want to get off that ride until I die. Seriously, I'm 56 years old and I think it's the best experience I've ever had as far as rides go. And yes, I Cry when I ride it.

And I'm crying again...Gets me everytime I watch that ride and I've never been there physically!
