😀Thank you so much, Jason. You make these lessons tons of fun and you sure give me lots of "Eselsbrücken" (memory hooks in English?) - great job, it really works for me. Whenever there will be talk about ghosts I'll remember this video... The disclaimer at the beginning made me expect a rather gory picture that would haunt me in my dreams.... up came the lovely sketch of a pitiful lass that (to me) looked like a Scottish (ginger hair) bellydancer (dress), totally exhausted (lolling tongue) after a long night shift. I'm still laughing, 😂 you must have enjoyed yourself royally when you prepared this lesson. How do we say "He sure was laughing his butt off" in Gaelic? Leasan sgoinneil agus innteannach! I had previously thought that “wraith” was a word that Gaelic lent to English (don’t know why). Very interesting to discover that Gaelic has its own word for wraith. You learn something new every day! 😊

Sin mar a tha e. 🙂 In Gaelic, we're *in* a world, but *on* the countryside. It's quite literal: we walk *on* the landscape.

Why is it not "Ann an t-saoghal" (with the t-)?

Ah, nicely spotted. 🙂 It's because Saoghal an Witcheir already has a 'the' (the 'an') and we never have more than one 'the' in a phrase. English will happily say 'THE world of THE witcher" but Gaelic is content with just one 'the'. Does that make sense?
