One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while amazing plot and storyline

1 thing is for sure....... Yoshi Toranaga just like his real like counterpart Ieyasu, was now confident and didn't shy away from showing his real intentions to the council, he was no longer as reserved as he was when he first started off at Mikawa province. He was now very powerful with a million kokus as revenue, he was the top dog of Japan and mitsunari with only a meager 120k+ koku income. Other lords joined mitsunarito either uphold their loyalties to the former Taiko or harbored hate for the real life Ieyasu. Didn't kinda like the very reserved side of Torinaga but everything else checks out

Ishido did Sugiyama worse than O-Dog in Menace II Society when he said " I feel sorry for your mother"

Ishida Mitsunari was a loyal retainer of the Toyotomi but was disliked by most nobles loyal to the Toyotomi Clan. This was the advantage Tokugawa Ieyasu had before the battle of Sekigahara. Mitsunari had the numerical advantage before the battle 90k against Tokugawa's 70k but as the battle commenced Lords under the banner of Mitsunari defected to Tokugawa and other just didn't fight waiting which side is going to win before committing their warriors.

I never figured out how Toranaga got Ochiba taken hostage prior to the start of the story. I know her sister was having a baby but I figured Ochiba was always paranoid of Toranaga - if I was paranoid, I wouldn’t go anywhere near Edo.
