Today I invite you to join us on an imaginary trip beyond the boundaries of the universe.
We will start out far away from the Earth near the first space probes that left our planet a long while ago. Whizzing at superluminal speeds, we will cross interstellar space in the blink of an eye and visit several remarkable stars not far from our system. After that we will make Betelgeuse’s acquaintance, a dying star that will help us understand stellar evolution better. And then we will see some of the loneliest and most mysterious space objects - rogue planets.
0:00 Intro
01:51 Beyond the Solar System
13:31 Closest stars
29:34 Betelgeuse
42:14 Rogue planets
52:47 Beyond the Milky Way
01:05:32 Black holes

I both agree and disagree. It’s comforting knowing that none of this matters really. Our lives are blinks that are nothing in the overall design of things. Even massive historical impacts like world wars mean absolutely nothing in the scale of the cosmos. That’s kind of reassuring. But the other hand says ‘then what’s the point? There isn’t one’. Like the finest poetry- it’s open to interpretation

This: these elements have always existed, our Heavenly Father organized them and created our eath. And only our eath w/ children having experiences like we are, but there are many, many other planets and children. His work and glory is to bring about the immortality and eternal life of man. We are here being tested and having experiences so that we can at some point inherit all that He has, living in a glory that can't be explained. So His love for us is vast as is his intelligence.

Great show. Crazy to think that (we) as a species have advanced ourselves enough to realise the sheer scale of the cosmos and yet are ridiculously close to destroying our one chance of maintaining the adventure of discovery in a ego filled nuclear war. I wonder how many other civilisations accross time and space have sealed the same fate.
@orionxavier6957
@orionxavier6957 Рік тому
"Ego filled nuclear war." But it's really our identification with EGO that is the cause of the world's woe. It is the source of evil. In order to change the world, one only needs to stop identifying with ego. The evolution of human civilization will be made through reaching a higher state of consciousness, free from ego. And ultimately we will find that while science and technology are useful, they're not the source of "truth." Our body, physical sensations, our thoughts, the logical nature of the mind, are only made "real" because they are given the attention of our conscious presence. Like, a shadow puppet cast on a wall by the light, and given form and meaning through imagination. But only the "light" is real.

One of the best videos yet. It' rare for me to watch a video all the way threw, you guys/gals did a amazing job producing a unique video that's not the same old same old over and over again.

An incredible journey, with impressive CGI. I would have liked to see the actual images sent back by the probes.

Dude...your videos legit have my black ass up till 3,4 in the morning learning about space lol. Never was that interested in the subject until I came across one of your videos. Everything about space is absolutely gigantic and dangerous. Besides the fact that theres no air, Most people don't understand exactly how bad EVERYTHING in space wants to kill you, nothing out there wants to be your friend. Its really hard to put that into prospective and explain it in a way that will keep you interested in the subject. Great video!

Its amazing how astronomers know so much about other solar systems but yet had a hard time finding planets in our own solar system..
